Default 2012 GX460 S-Sport with new Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain tires 265/65/18

Just got a new tires (265/65/18) for my old 2012 GX this week. I'm liking how it looks with slightly larger tires. I'm wondering what other simple mods that I can do that won't make it look too tricked out. Thinking maybe a luggage rack? Thoughts?

looks perfect to me! If you want to switch out your tail lights to the sequential ones, I’d be interested in buying your oem ones.

Our situation is a little different but the same principles apply.
This was the info I was interested in, by moving up to 265/65/18 in a highway or touring tire that should in theory provide a softer supple ride with the increased sidewall. Now what tire in the 65 series gives the best comfort ride?

Default Tire Options for 19" Wheels

New owner of 2021 GX Luxury. The stock Dunlop AT23 Grandtrek 265/55-19 are poorly reviewed and unless I'm missing something there aren't many options out there. Is there anything else out here besides winter tires, Pirelli All Seasons and Conti Summer tires? Wiling to go 275 as long as there's no rub. Thanks in advance.

I just bought 4 of these, only 1 showed up so far. I have had Hankooks on all our SUV’s for years, super reliable look great and are awesome in the snow.

... same question asked not too long ago on this forum ... search for the responses ... very few options in 19" at this point. Agree ... the Dunlop's are an abysmal tire as are the Toyota / Lexus standard issue Bridgestone's.

Very well done video. Informative, to the point, clear, some comedy, educational.

X2

Firestone Destination A/T tires would probably cover 95% of my use, I can get them cheaper and are quieter on road IMO.

Hey guys,

I am seeing so many nice setups! Please keep them coming.

Quick question - for installation, do you guys take your GXs to chain stores like Discount Tire, or to specialized stores? I imagine it's not fun to have a nice setup and the truck vibrates ...

In the past, I went to discount tire bu but recently when I went there to put some wheels on my Tacoma, they refused to do it because the front lug nuts wouldn't get 7 full turns onto the wheel stud. If what I've read online is true, Toyota/Lexus studs are on the "shorter" end so YMMV based on wheel design and lug nut style.
