I have had KO2s on mine nearly 3 years and 40k miles. 265/70/18. probably one of the quietest AT out. even my dad commented on how quiet they are on a recent trip
Thanks, I'm torn between KO2 and Wildpeaks for this reason. I like the look of the KO2 better, but think the wildpeaks will be quieter.
Does anyone know which company, if any, makes steel wheels for the 2015 GX460. I am looking to get a second set of tires for it with dedicated mud tires. Looking to get KM#'s in size 285 70 17. It already has a Dobinson's lift kit and SPC UCA's. I am looking to stay within factory offset specs if possible. Currently have 275 65 18's on it.

I recently lifted my 2020 with a Toytec 3/2 Aluma lift with Method MR305 wheels and the Falken Wildpeaks. Like the look and the ride so far. Method MR305 18” with a -12 offset and 275/65-18 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws

Here is my 2013 gx460. It has king shocks all the way around total chaos adjustable links and toytec springs that I converted from airbags. Almost done with my new overland rig. She sits on Advan RGD2 wheels with 315/70r17 BFG KM3 mud terrains. Had to do a body mount chop, pinch weld mod and cut plastics. Replaced bumper with metal tech 4x4 bumper. Just need my winch, roof rack and tent to finish. If you want to go this size you’ll need to make steering limiters so that they don’t rub on shock reservoirs.
1. What is the "standard offset" would be for 17x8 rim? I'm very confused here, lexus lists "offset" as -44 to 20, but this is not something you see when you shop for the rim. Many people posts different offset but there was something that engineers calculated suspension/steering for... I'm not ready to go against their calculation with my non-existant car engineering experience and i want to stay optimal. How would i shop for it? Any specific brand/website?
2. If you mount 265/70 on it that is going to screw up speedometer, right? And in order for speed reading to remain correct the 17 tire should be 245/70? Right?
3. If i mount more sturdy (than the street one) tire like falken at3w, smaller rim is going to help with the "comfort"? (i dont care about handling much here) or not?

how did you relocated the windshield washer reservoir?

Thank you! Any competent opinion is appreciated.
After some research got TRD wheels and 255/70R17 toyo at3.
After reading through pages and pages of comments, with the continuous statement that 265 65 18 tires will not rub - I got a set of Michelin Defender LTX/ M/S 265 65 18. They rub. They rub in hard right or hard left turns. They rub when turning and going over bumps. They rub regardless of removing that notorious mud flap bolt or not. So, I don't get it. Is something different about my 2015 GX that it rubs? Or is it the tire? Is the Defender LTX a bit taller than what everyone else seems to be using?
Different topic: I want to change my wheels. The 18" wheels look pathetic in my opinion on this truck. They look like little pie plates. Lexus dropped the ball here. I'm considering 22" wheels. I can't seem to get a response from those that have gone to 22" wheels - typically a 40 profile tire such as 285 40 22 as to how this impacts the ride quality. Surely there must be some opinions on this? How about the 20" - 285 50 20 - any thoughts on this setup? I want to change out my wheels but at the same don't want to transform my Lexus into a 1970's jacked up Dodge Ram or similar. BTW - my truck will 100% on-road use. No lifts, suspension mods etc.
FYI there is also tire rack, and walmart online.
Tire rack is cheapest with shipping refund when you pick up tires from the warehouse ($80 cheaper for me).
Discount tire for some reason includes mandatory installation and recycling, even if you have nothing to recycle and don't want to install.
What do you guys think about these tires/rims? I wasn't aware that these RIMS were made by Lexus and am wondering why the TPMS isn't included? Maybe too good of a deal? I'm expecting about $100 more to get them installed at a tire shop....

TPMS is inside of a valve stem made by DENSO, You normally do not buy a rim with the valve stem. Also model of the sensor depends on the year of the car.
