Quiet as stock tires but softer and grip better. I had the Contintal DWS H/T on my X5m sport and they were amazing in all weather that when i was sold on continetal for life!

Finally got the lift (front spacer lift until Kings arrive. Rear coils are Dobinsons C59-327. Also waiting on rear Kings shocks. Camburg UCA’s) and wheels/tires on a couple weeks ago. 17x9 -38 SCS with 275/70/17 KO2’s. Just needed minor trimming and heating up the fender liners. It was on 285/70/17 at first but it was rubbing the CBI sliders and I didn’t feel like trimming them so that’s the reason it’s on 275/70/17 now. Maybe someday I’ll trim the sliders but for now I think it looks great. Definitely better than stock lol!

Made the jump to 285/70/17 tires while in Colorado. Couldn't find the Toyo OC ATIII in stock anywhere so threw on the KO2s. No trimming or rubbing with the TRD replicas with +4 offset. Tires barely stick out of the fender wells which I like.

Lower offsets on GX??
Hi guys, I
I've seen posters here apparently running 285/40/22 on both ET15 and ET25 with stock suspension. Calcs say this will put the wheel either 0.4inch or 0.8 inch further out. The 0.8inch appears like that would put the top of the wheel in the path of the underside of the fender when i eyeball it on mine.
Is hitting the underside of the fender with a standard diameter wheel a concern on the GX460 or is there that much travel to allow for that on the stock in normal driving?
anybody running a lower offset on OEM suspension that can speak to this? I'm looking at 275/45/22 on 22/9.5/ET15 which will push outside 0.59inch further out...looks like it will clear the fender if it had to...but looking for some confirmation. 😁😁

275/65/18 with no rubbing and no fender mods. I have the hardware to make the mod work in the console just in case. Pics don't do it justice - it looks way bigger and more aggressive in person.

How is the ride? Acceleration impacted? Feel heavier? Etc Just curious as Im thinking of doing this.
