2010 Peridot Green Mica on 17x8.5 KMC Impact ET +0, wrapped in Pirelli AT+ 265/70/17
Stock suspension, infamous bolt removed, fenders heat-gunned and a single zip tie to secure the inner fender. Only rubs in reverse, just barely. Might go for a round 2 with the heat gun and see if I can get get the inner fender to curve a bit more in that area.

I don't have a matching spare yet, but from my research it should. Loosening the trailer hitch and sliding it backwards as far as it will go might be necessary, airing the tire down might be necessary.
I'll throw an update in here when I get to it.

I just took delivery of a 2022 luxury which obviously comes with 19in wheels. The dealership is offering me the opportunity to trade the wheels for 18in TRD wheels at no cost(I’ve driven the 19in for a little over a week).
im inclined to do it and put on some Yokohama Geolanders …I’m just concerned about the steering and ride quality experience. I’m loving the feel of this truck. The steering has a nice heavy feel which I like but obviously 19in wheels are not very future proof. Has anyone went from 19 to 18 and been disappointed in any change in driving experience? Just kinda looking for some advice. I’m also planning on a lift by toytec. Then again I could always just hold onto the 19s and add 18s and use the 19s for snow tires. Then again I’d love to save the money and just do the trade, I just don’t want to ruin the ride and steering feel I’m enjoying. Any insight/advice would be much appreciated.

I love the TRD wheels you are looking at. My previous vehicle was a 2008 4Runner that I installed GEOLANDAR A/T G015.
The Geolandar's handled and rode good but I found the noise level increased as they wore, by the second summer of driving I found the noise quite annoying

My 2021 GX Executive has the 19" with Dunlop tires which I really like, smooth & quiet but definitely not off road.

Hello all.... What size lug nuts should I purchase for wheels that are 17x8.5" with +0 offset? I understand the stock offset is 52mm with 7.5" width, so effectively the width is extended by approximately 65mm or 2.5" per corner. Also wanted to verify that the stockers are m12 1.5" bolts?

If you’re running an aftermarket wheel assuming the 17x8.5 size, make sure the lug seat is 60 degree conical which most lugs are.

Thank you. So a m12x1.5mm in a 60degree conical shape should fit the bill. But what length would I need? Would a 35mm fit? Could I get away with my stockers?
#1304
35mm is plenty, rule of thumb is 7 full rotations on your stubs to be properly seated.

Want to Change Wheels
Hi all - I recently bought a 2017 GX460 that has the stock 18" chrome wheels. I want to change them out to look just like the new 2021 stock ones or something similar. Has anyone done this/have any recommendations on where to go? Not much of a car gal - lol!
