If you wait long enough, someone here will change out their wheels and sell their stock grey ones to you. That, or check the BST (buy, sell, trade) forums in the meantime.

I will have set of the grey painted ones with tires soon. Our 2022 is supposed to be here Wednesday, and will immediately order wheels and tires for it.

Question. Planning on a 17” by 8.5” +1 offset wheel for he new GX. Any interference issues with the stock upper control with this size wheel?

All Lexus GX460 wheels are a narrow 7.5" ... and when running the stock 265 tire, there is a significant amount of sidewall bulge that is not conducive to a sharp steering response ... and the stock wheel offset has the tires tucked WAY TOO inboard ... the very reason many upgrade the stock wheels to aftermarket wheels. So for the effort, do yourself a favor and purchase aftermarket wheels that are 8.0" wide assuming you are running the stock 265 tires ... in addition to having an offset that places the edge of the tire tread closer to being in vertical alignment with the edge of the fender flare. The stock Lexus wheels are WAY TOO inboard ... a "soccer mom" stance that makes the GX look like a Minivan.

If you do go aftermarket ... make sure the wheels have the stock 106.1 mm center bore diameter to avoid using centering rings to adapt a larger center bore diameter.

Your rims are clearly wider than the stock 7.5" ... as is the offset. Please share ...

What are y’all’s thoughts about a SL vs XL tire for this vehicle?

Default New 22 inch wheels installed

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to post on this thread about the wheels and tires. After reading through it all, I decided on going with 22s. I went with Asanti ABL-28 Barons, 22x9.5 15mm offset. They are gloss black with gray tinted machined face. 22x275/45 tires.
Wheel shop said they wouldn't fit but thanks to all the feedback from this group i knew they would. They fill the wheel well perfectly. They are pushed out 15mm(10 vs OG offset and 5mm from wider tire) which leaves them still sitting just inside the top fender lip. From the three quarter and back view the stance is WAY better and the truck no longer looks top heavy.
I had the expected slight rub at full turn on that underskirt bolt in the front, which i switched out for a flat head. I went the extra mile and used a little length of wire to pull the lower rear underskirt back about a half inch, attaching it to the undercarriage just to be sure there would be no rubbing. Have put a couple thousand miles on it without issues so far.
Originally went with Nitto 420vs but they were un-balanceable due to hard spots. Shop switched them out for Hankook Ventus and the ride is now great. The ride with the 45 aspects has gone from spongy to sport, but still a nice luxury ride, not stiff as I feared.
