[QUOTE=ellocovg;11301498]That looks phenomenal, looks really good on the center caps too.
Thanks - and something less than $50. It is easier to take the dip off the chrome center than it is to mask that.
If you go the dip route, do one wheel at a time and jack the vehicle up so you can spin the tire as you spray. You’ll get a really nice result doing it that way.

Finally got my wheels and tires after 5 years of ownership! 285/60r18 Nitro Terra Grapplers on 18x9. MB Wheels... Not sure of the offset, but I am getting some rubbing! 2" lift on it's way should solve that, though. Got this setup on FB Marketplace for only $375! 😀
Dropped to 14 mpg ,☹️

sweet! I was just looking at those tires online. Thank you for sharing.
Looks like I’m keeping the stock tires for now.

FYI, the lift won't help your rubbing issues. It's likely the fender liners, the side steps, the body mount, or a combination of those, all of which will still be present after the lift.

Nice, I had the Terra Grapplers on a F150 a couple of years ago, great tire. I was tempted by the 60 series but was concerned with the rub. Great look though.
Not sure if you have the same knowledge of lifts that I do (read: very little) but, if you are putting a spacer on top of the coil, the gain is essentially doubled. When I put the ‘level’ on my knight’s armor GX, I put a 1” on and that turned out to be higher than the rear by a noticeable amount. So I then added a lesser height to the rear and got a level lift but, imho, it was too high. I have since put 1/2” level spacers on top of just the front coils and achieved the level I had desired. My MPG is not awesome but it is certainly better than the F150 Platinum with the 6.2 Raptor motor in it that I had before this GX.
Whatever you do, be sure to check your headlights for aim after the lift if they are not so equipped to aim by themselves.

I am running 17x8.5 0 offset RRW rims with Yokohama AT GeoLanders, 265-70-17. The fronts rubbed big time when turning, until I removed the problem sidestep bolt on each side which helped a little, but the ziptie mod finally did the trick. Don't have time for a write up but here is the flat head bolt I bought from Lowes, along with a wing nut and added washer, to attach the zip ties to and pull the fender back.
The Yokos look great, just wish I would have done this upon installation instead of waiting nearly 2000 miles. GL.

Got some wheels and tires on my wife's GX today. Went with 22x9.5 Dub shot calla wheels with goodyear eagle LS2s in 285/45-22. Turned out nice I think.

Looks good, zimdogg, especially in contrast with the white. How do they ride?

Rides great. I'm waiting on some new lugs because these wheels are not hub centric, which makes the balance feel off a bit at the moment. The self centering lugs will fix that (hopefully) and should be real nice then. I have minor rubbing I need to address. One on a screw on the drivers side rear wheel well bolt, another area is rubbing on passenger side front on the wheel well liner. Other than that, I really like them.

Wheel / tire fitment question
Hey all
New to the forums, long time lurker. Recently picked up a used 14 GX and I'm interested in putting some wheels on her ASAP.
Somewhat settled on the SCS Ray10s and I'm wondering which sizing will provide good fitment but also an aggressive stance. This will be the first time I've swapped wheels on one of my vehicles so I figured I might defer to some of the knowledge here.
Ideally I'd like to go 17" and the sizing options available are:
17x8.5 -10mm 6x139.7 and
17x9 -38mm 6x139.7
The -10 offset sounds like it's aggressive without poking too much from what I've gathered, but I'm wondering if anyone has or can reference other setups with these size/offset combinations and could maybe lend an opinion or point me to a thread (or at least a direction).
Checked the wheel/tire thread a bit and I may have skimmed too quickly but I'm pretty sure I didn't see anything with a -10 offset.
I'm going to keep the suspension stock (initially) so just wondering if I'll have clearance or rubbing issues.
Tires will likely be 265/70R17 Wildpeaks (if I can in fact go with the -10 offset, might have to go bigger to accommodate a 9" wheel width)

17x8.5 -10 Ray 10s with Falken Rubitrek 265/70. Minimal trimming required with stock suspension.
Lemme know if you want more pictures and I can send direct.
