2022 TRD Pro Tacoma replica's 17x8, on 265/70/17 Michelin LTX A/T2 (10 ply, load range E). I got almost 100k miles on the LTX Defenders...so far been satisfied with the A/T2's. MPG took a slight hit (particularly around the city), as well as low end torque....highway hasn't been that bad. I got 20-22 mpg on the stock size Defenders...now it's closer to 19-21. 31's rubbed slightly....had to pull some of the front inner linings away from the tires with zip ties.

Don't mind the bumper (off road mis-adventures) facelift is in the works.

You drove 100k miles on a set of tires? You mind sharing a photo of the remaining tread?

Almost, probably closer to 97k. I think I could have gotten 100k before the sidewalls started cracking too much, unfortunately I was lazy with alignment/balance/rotation the last 20k miles...causing the inner tread to wear down faster than the rest. I don't have the tires on me...can take a few pics in a few weeks.

I don't know what OEM is now a days but the Defender LTX were very good for me, very quiet tires. Think I paid around $900 from Costco....took them off roading a few times, did ok except for the steep loose stuff. I did drive them on the streets around 40 psi for the most part.

I’ve got Michelin Defenders on my “21” GX. They have about 1000mi since install. Very smooth, quiet ride. I would recommend.

Took the plunge today and swapped out OEM dunlop with 27k to defenders. Let's see if they're an improvement this weekend

I will need to look into the Defenders when it’s time to replace the Bridgestone Duelers.

We went with Defender LTX M+S, just before the MS2 was released for the 19" rims

Now 15k miles into them and they have not disappointed.
They are little noisier than the Grandtrek that the GX came with also they have slightly harder ride, but it does not bother us at all.

Just put on some 265/65/18 Falken Wildpeak A/T4W. They feel extremely heavy compared to stock, it def takes more rpm's to move. My ride felt fairly bouncy before, it now feels planted. A little concerned about MPG but it's too early to tell. They do look great though and the spare fit no problem.
