If you have autolock turned on either with speed or when shifted into Drive, when you slam on the brakes hard and the car came to a stop, it will unlock all the doors by itself...good safety feature.

Just found this out this morning LOL.
Me too I was off the ramp didn't pay attention of my speed and had to stop at the traffic light at the end of ramp....... found that feature too.
Put the car in R to activate the rear camera, the touch Stop/Start to turn the engine off, you will have the camera on until you touch S/S again to turn off or turn on the car again. Good to when you want to monitor behind when stop in parking lot of waiting for someone

Do you also get the constant beep buzz sound? On my 2014 GX, if push the S/S button when gear shift is in any position other than P or N, the buzz sound continues until you moved the shift to P or N

It only beeps if the power is ON, otherwise no beep.
What I did was, when engine is on, i shifted to R, press parking brakes, take foot off brakes then press on/off. Camera stays on and no beep. Even if I shift to P, the camera still stays on. I’m on the Acc power and not on ON
Couple of other customary Lexus parlor tricks...press and hold the fob "unlock" button and watch the windows
and sunroof open. Vents a hot car as you approach. Release earlier to stop part way down. Slip the mechanical
key out of the fob and insert in the driver's door key cylinder. Turn CCW and watch any open window/sunroof close!
No, you can not press the fob "lock" button to close because it overrides the Jamproof feature and you could catch
Fido's head the the closing window.
Tapping the steering wheel button "Mode" will take you from AM to FM to BT to....
Press and hold the "Mode" button to pause a CD or iTune track or to Mute a Radio station.
Touch the Start/Stop button once with your foot OFF the brake for Accessory
Touch the S/S button twice with your foot off for Power Windows/Sunroof without starting the motor.
Touch the S/S when you park but are still in gear...Accessory. Promise me you will remember to touch
the S/S one more time before exiting the car to really shut it down, I'm not coming to jump start you!
Which year/s are you referring to here?
I have the 2012 and holding the unlock on the FOB didn't do anything.......was it operator error?
Thanks

Key fob lock/unlock with close/open windows features can be set via Techstream. Default setting is OFF. However, if you are using those OBD-II mirror folding module, that feature is ON with the module. However, the "closing" function only operates on four windows, but not on Sunroof.

These are really cool things about the vehicle that have me more and more excited to drive one!
So, I'm not a computer programmer, but is there any way to incorporate any other changes yourself?
By that I mean, is there something that you can program yourself?
Are these options computer or engineering features?
I can’t keep straight what are dealer only vs settings you can change yourself but look at Carista. That app plus an OBD module lets you change all options yourself and I think the cost is really reasonable.
may be this is not so much of a hidden trick, but i just learned today that my non-ml audio system can actually play dvds. Car needs to be in park, with emergency brake engaged.
maybe my dvd was a music dvd but what year is your gx , ill try again!
