Looks great!!!!! I look forward to seeing the lists of OEM and aftermarket parts and the sources where you purchased including the headlights. If you don't mind sharing, what was your total costs?

My confidence level is a bit low when it comes to this time of conversion and usually takes me a while to work my nerve up to doing this, especially with the lighting wiring and all the brackets, which is why I haven't done this yet.

I just might pull the trigger and see if I can do this face lift.

Aside from the wiring, the brackets and lack of instructions were the most challenging. If I did not have a 2017 sitting next to it in the garage, I’d have been a lot more difficult. If you do the rear too, you will need to order the mud splash guard things as well since they are not with the kit. The fender liners are different and the Chinese ones are not worth using.

Posted in the “What did you do” thread but this is specific to the update. Had the body shop delete the biggest thing that makes the pre-2020 ones look old - god rid of the side moldings. Drawback was that they have holes so he had to patch and all that. His paintwork is flawless. Am now fully stoked about it. Was contemplating re-dipping the wheels in more of a copper but think I like this look just fine. Got rid of the K02s and now have the BFG Trail TA tire, they are decent. The K02s were great for 40k, horrible after that.

The totally finished look, finally had a minute to get it to where the background looked a tad better than the golf course parking lot…

Wanted to update on a supplier from Alibaba - I got the updates and headlights from them & they were good with support at the install point. About a years ago, I noticed a slight wiggle on the driver’s side headlight on my GX. Checked everything and it is the light itself, not anything loose on the outside.

Subsequent contact with them was not good. They get the messages and initially responded. I asked if I could buy a single left headlight and would pay shipping, not wanting a special deal or a freebie, just didn’t want to buy another complete set. Crickets. Waited a month, contacted them again. More crickets.

Bought another set from a different supplier and they’ll be here in a few weeks. So, if you are in updating headlights market, just know that some vendors are better than others.

The ones on my 17 are good, no problems whatsoever.
