Lightbulb 2011 gx front conversion to 2015 gx ??

hi, I was wondering if anyone know if I can convert my 2011 gx460 to a 2014-15 front end? Has anyone done it and what all needs to be changed? as far as i can tell the bumper and headlight is the only thing needed to change? fender and hood same? and also would the taillight be a perfect fit if I put a 14-15 gx taillight on? and as for parts being expensive I'm not worried about that bc i have a shop that can get it wholesale for me. any help would be great! Thanks!

Considering that 2011 GX approach angle is 28 deg. while 2014 GX is only 21 deg., I cannot see any reason why converting 2011 GX to 2014 GX...

Lightbulb GX460 2012-2015 conversion done!!!!!!

just wanted to let you guys know i was able to pull it off the conversion without yellow lights flashing.
it was a hassle at first but we managed through it. one thing is certain if you need afs to stop flashing, you need to disasemble the old headlights and use a module that is below the HID module to pass it on to the newer headlights.
so it can be done!!
found a very good source of purchasing new parts instead of used.
example i paid for the fog cover bezel 45 used. new with this source costs 21.
things like that. modules that went for 250 used costs 90 new etc etc.
that made things easier.
i have attached some pics

I like the look of the 2012 tail lights and reverse lights. So this is the reason i did not do it. Here there are alot of prados and its practically the same bumper. I want it to be different

Default Exactly what I've been Dreaming About!

Wow that is really a great accomplishment!

- any major "fit" issues trying to mount the new bumper or lights? Have to do any "surgery"?...you mentioned some hassles...

- were you able to get AFS to work with the new lights/module/harness?

- where was your parts source? - would like to see about getting parts for US locales.

- any way I could talk you into posting a list of parts you bought?

Again - great accomplishment!

Thanks,
- Craig

Hello craig,
Thank you.
There were no hassles at all besides making the headlights work with afs. I must say that they are not moving from left to right when i turn as the old headlights did but they auto level when i start the vehicle. In order for the afs light not to turn in i had to dissasemble the old headlight and take the module for the afs that is located below the module of the HID. We tried everything before reaching for this solution which i did not like but its better than purchasing aprox 2500 for a engine harness plus ecu and installation. Besides the headlight situation which took us aproximately 5 hours everything went smooth as butter.
There are alot of parts to be purchased and i do not mind posting the part numbers if the mods dont mind.
I was missing some parts but nothing major that prevented me from finishing the install. Tonight i will post the part no.s if it does not bring me any troubles and the module im refering to of the afa in order for the light not to come on.
I had to basically render useless the old headlights in order for these to work without "flaws"("" because they arent turning left to right) that does not bother me that they aren't turning but the blinking afs my OCD would kill me hah

That is awesome good job! However If one were to do this in the states, please keep your old parts or take pictures of the process. So when you go to sell or trade your car they do not think it was in an accident!

Anyway thanks for showing this can be done!

Um, not sure the lights are supposed to turn. Mine don't and I have a 2015 Lux model.... They do the up/down leveling when I start the car though.
