Back siill plate support bought at Home Depot. Front
Used a heat gun and putty knife to pull them up. They are on there pretty good. I was a little rough removing them. Scuffed up the plastic to get a good stick. Filled the dents with this. Sanded down. support plates installed. Bought several options to choose from Temporarily wrapped with options.. Nope... Nope.. The black 3M carbon fiber wrap blends in better and I think it would do better at hiding current and future dings GE silicon. I used a hard and a soft brush along with the heat gun to fill in the LEXUS. Had to cut the front support. Using the Home Depot plate did raise it up a bit. Finally got around to the passenger side a month or so ago. I did not use the Home Depot plates on this side and I wouldn't use them if I were to do this again. I think this black carbon fiber wrap will conceal dings pretty well. As you can see this eliminated the gap I have on the driver side. Not sure how I got the gap on the rear, I guess I should have centered it. This is my driver side today that was installed 2/28/2016 it looks the same as when installed.
