I do not know. it only takes a few seconds to look under there. could also look at the light switch.
depending on how you want the fogs to operate, it could be better if there is no wiring. this would be the case if you want the fogs on with IGN as DRLs

the h11 connector (or whichever you want to use) come in a set for about 7$. could then wire to IGN for on with car on.
could use an inline connector (extension) to tap into the low beams if you want on with lows.

Default adding factory fogs... possible or not?

I just bought a 2017 GX - without the fogs. ive seen a handful of threads with people attempting to install them but no write ups, or pictures or anything,. So is it possible or not?

For adding OEM fog lights for 2017 could be expensive. 2017 OEM fog will be LED unit. You will need the light kit, the bezel, possibly the wire harnesses. Since the LED Control unit is integrated with the light unit, you could add an after market switch and relay to control the light without replace the OEM light control at steering wheel. Alternatively, you could find after market fog lights that maybe able to fit the area.

You will need the Turn Signal switch with the fog light switch on it. The fog lights and the bezels. You are already pre-wired with a relay and everything, the connectors are taped.

thanks for the reply. I was inclined to think this was the likely scenario - with the little research I have done, seems I have located the the fog light relay and fuse already on my vehicle. Have you done this install OCGX?

I installed Baja S1’s to plug into the factory harness. I used Toyota part number 9098011002 to make the harness.

No, I am using an aftermarket toyota style switch that fits in one of the switch blanks. Since the factory switch is a ground switch, I just taped into the harness in the dash.

Nice, can you share how you installed the fog lights and switch? I gave up looking b/c I thought I need a new wiring harness.

@OCGX Sorry to bring up an old thread but I'm working on installing some fog lights in my GX base. Could you provide any tips on how to access the harness to tap into the fog light switch wiring? I'd like to follow your lead on installing an auxiliary switch.

Just tap into the green wire on the Body ECU with a grounding switch.

I swapped my OEM fog lights with Baja Design S1s. I cut the connector off of the OEM fog lights, but still have them and may be willing to sell them.

@OCGX Really appreciate the help! Are there any panels that need to be removed to access the main body ecu?

@klinquist I'd definitely be interested but cant seem to find the PM option, I just officially joined the forum not long ago so I don't know if that has anything to do with it

How much of an improvement are the S1s over the stock fogs? If it's a large improvement, it might not be a bad upgrade for less than $300. Do you run these with the low beams? How about getting flashed (not that kind) from oncoming vehicles?
