Figured it out on my 2014 base model. Wired Baja S1's using the factory harness. Tapped into the body ECU (G47-27 / Green wire) - Ground the green wire and it will trigger the fog light.

Sorry, I'm just not that smart. The factory looking switch I have has 4 wires - no instructions. Green plug with Black, red, orange, and green wires. I think one of these is supposed to draw power for illumination, Another to indicate when it's "on". One of the other 2 to the green wire on body ECU and ground the black?
I installed Dr KDSS Harness and switch earlier so I'm T-tapped into the Trac Off (could not get Illumination working right).
The fog lights on GX are typically turned on where other lights are - on the turn signal stalk there is a position for fogs. I found the swicth on Amazon that should work.
There is a wiring diagram:
In this thread they show tapping into green wire on the body ECU - assume that is the "source." From there, I'm looking for help on best wires to use for others. You can T-tap into wires on adjacent switches for illumination, On, and ground. I installed switch for my Dr KDSS switch and tapped into Trac- on/off but only get the On light (another issue) if I have black into gray (doesn't work for me black to white w/ black pin stripe as instructions show.
Could you please tell me if this green wire should be wired as "source"? i.e. when you activate the switch, it completes the ground and turns on the light Or is this to the relay for the fog lights?

@Chasin On my 2017 base, there's a small bundle of OEM wires coming out behind switches on left side: one for trac on/off, one for gas door, and a third with white plug with 2 greens, a gray, and a white. Do you know what switch this is for?
So I tapped into the 27 wire on the Body ECU harness and reenacted the grounding and it activated the fog light indicator and sent 11.7V to the wire harness behind the fog lights. I made a harness using the factory mate to the harness plug and the other end put Baja Design's connector so it plugged into the S1. Even though I was getting 11.7V all the way to the end of the harness, the lights wouldn't turn on. They worked jumped to the battery but plugged into harness when grounding the 27 wire. ???
I sent a message to BD - they said check polarity at light end (which I had done) and check factory fog fuse (it was good).
I went ahead and wired in the factory switch with the "relay lead going to the 27 wire and expected the ground would activate the fogs. It didn't. It did when I grounded the "source" wire on the switch so I hooked a wire to the green (source) wire on my switch and grounded it on a bolt.
Maybe someone that has done this already has an idea of what I'm doing wrong. I'd appreciate recommendations.
Thanks.
For illumination I took a fuse tap and hooked to the tail light slot. Illumination stayed on constantly.

Have not looked in detail of Body Control ECU and OEM fog lights assemble module, my guess is the OEM fog module may provide the error check (light malfunction) with the Body ECU, therefore, the voltage that supplied to OEM fog may not be a constant source, rather it is a pulse voltage. What you may want to do is using the added switch to control a simple relay for a) ground #27 to provide dash indicator function, and b) to supply the IG power source to your fog light, not using the pulse power from the OEM socket. Just make sure you using an IG (ignition controlled) power source for your fog lights.
