That wrap video is awesome - takes a lot of skill to have them come out right.
As far as longevity, a friend ordered wraps for cop cars rather than pay for the paint. In about 3 years, they looked horrendous due to door dings and genera lack caring by the drivers. They had to take it off and repaint them so their costs went up as compared to just painting them from the get-go.
For plasti-dip, I plasti dipped my grill when I had the 13 grill on my 13 and did the wheels too. The stuff held up wonderfully. Put about 10k miles on the grill and it still looked flawless save one or two minor stone chips. The wheels continue to look like I just did them. The 13’s grill was done to lower the flashy look of the original. Used the anthracite color on the grill and wheels.
