Hello,

I have a 2016 GX460 and I have been trying to get the text to sync with my Samsung Note 5 but no luck, the texts display whenever they want and never consistent. I have unpaired the phone and the car, removed the phone from the car and I have even reset the Nav and my phone but no luck. Also I have deleted all my texts and have waited for the system to download all the texts.
I have called 3 dealerships and Lexus Corporate and no one knows anything. So I'm reaching out to you all and see if anyone knows how to fix this issue.

Check with a technology specialist at your dealer. I have an I Phone 6S+. I know how to do it with
an I Phone, but not an Android....

When you get texts, do you actually get the complete text or is it just the notification a text message has been received and by whom?

I receive the complete text.

Go to settings/Bluetooth, when you see your GX on the Bluetooth list, there will be an i to the right of it, tap on the i and turn notifications on. It will light up green and you're done.

Hi Craig B I tried what you said but next to the phone icon is a music note not and I and its already highlighted and I can't un highlight without removing the phone maybe I should do that and start over from scratch? And the Manuel is no help lol

Hey Craig B I get the texts but not all the time it's a hit and miss and the email I have not been able to get at all let me ask does the phone have to be lock in order to receive all text?

I receive all my texts, you might ask your technology specialist at your dealer. There Is a firmware update for the navigation system that I need to have installed on my car at my next service visit. The dealer said the update will help with pairing on my phone. Sometimes it doesn't connect when I start my vehicle, not very often, but it has happened...

Me to sometimes it does not pair also I called Lexus and decided to just go there but the tech guy knew less then me lol.
