UPDATE - I replaced mine this weekend. The Actuators Plus unit went in like a champ and worked just fine. The process of getting the original unit out and the new one back in was not very simple (especially hooking the door handle linkage back in, but not difficult). Completed the swap in 30 minutes then put it back together (all connectors and door panel) in another 30. Only real trouble was getting the panel to line back up at the top. It took me about 5 tries before I tried pushing it towards the outside of the door firmly for it to line up properly. The only other thing was popping open the covered linkage connector on the unit. You think you are going to break it because it takes some effort, but it will pop open. My original one had plastic hinges. The replacement one had the thin plastic hinges cut through which made this a little easier.
I would do this the same way all over again. Lifetime Warranty part exchange was easy (came with pre-printed UPS label and envelope to return the original unit to them).
Also, I searched Youtube and found a video which showed a handy little trick... use a razor knife to cut the goey mastic on the backside of the plastic door cavity wrap in half. This leaves half on the door and half on the plastic. Then when you replace the plastic, you just line it up with the half left on the door and push the two together recreating that good seal. No need to buy new gooey crap and no mangling or deforming of the plastic! Youtube video --->
In the video, he went so far as to crack it open and replace the motor. Just buy the unit from Actuators Plus and replace it. The blue colored linkage was the difficult one.
I would advise you all to replace your actuators yourself!

Looks like I will be doing this project in the near future. I have the motors but a little limited on time so purchased one from vendor mentioned in this thread. It unlocks fine but now struggles with lock. I'd heard a few squeak/chirps out of the driver door lock for a few months now.
EDIT: Noticed you don't need to remove the keyhole trim on door lock assembly. It will come out attached to the key assembly once you loosen that retaining T30 TORX screw.

And now MRS GB's Passenger side actuator has failed. So... "Hello, Actuators Plus?...."
This time around I'm going to Pit Crew time myself!

It really is a 30 minute job or less.
Part showed up a little more than an hour ago and I didn't start work till around 6PM.... cleanup and putting tools away I am here now.
Works great. I need to package up the old one and send back for the lifetime warranty. I didn't want to mess around with the drivers door because it is so important for access. I may do motor swaps in the others if they fail.

33 MINUTES. I started at 5:05pm yesterday and ended at 5:38pm. Everything worked like a champ. All tools put away, cleaned up, and bagged the return. (It would have taken me only 15 minutes if the door panel had gone back onto the door easily, that took me 15 minutes alone! Lining up that top panel groove is a pain! Hint: ROLL DOWN THE DANG WINDOW! )

Did you remove the weather stripping piece from the door panel?
Pulling this part off, then putting on the door window frame before snapping the door panel back on was a lot easier than what I remember putting the passenger side panel back on for an inspection years back. At that time I remember it being a lot more challenging getting the panel to snap back down with that piece still attached to the door panel. I mentally noted that removal/install difference in the video from what I had done previously.
