AC settings reset to 75 and clicking noise
hello all,
i have used the search button to no avail regarding this matter.
the first problem is the clicking noise, if you have the radio off you hear it.
it doesnt matter if its max cold max hot, oriented air flow to head or feet, as long as the AC is on
you can hear it. it is a subtle sound but with Radio off you hear it.
then a month ago i got inside the truck and felt that AC air wasnt coming out then it did it resetted to 75, i payed
no attention, changed battery couple of days back and didnt think much of it.
as of yesterday everytime i get in the truck the same thing happens auto button is on but no AC then after 5-10 seconds AC comes on
sometimes at my setting and sometimes at 75. what gives?
i have not touched anything around there.
i changed cabin filter like 6 months ago. the truck is always in recirculate mode.
regards
Marco

Problem Fixed
Just to leave a comment for others in the future.
i solved the problem. i scanned the truck with the techstream software and reseted all the faulty codes
and i filled the coolant level which was a little bit low.
regarding the clicking sound i identified it as the front blower. i took it out and when i spinned it, it didnt spin until it stopped.
it is as if something is "braking" the blower motor. i can get it repaired but i will just order a new one this way i am sure
i wont have to look in that area again.
