If you get parts you might want to use security screws as rare as this stuff is in the US :-)

The WeatherTech importer to Russia also carries it.

I have to wonder if EGR Auto in Australia isn't the company that makes the OEM deflector for Lexus.

I ordered on 10/30 and was told the following ETAs by the dealer, hood deflector 4-8 weeks, windows (Lexus) 2 weeks, roof unknown. But surprisingly, dealer left me a message said everything came in yesterday. I had someone picked it up from the dealer but haven't open the box yet. Now I just need to go there and bring it back.

So you ordered from that German seller? Or someone else?

I ordered from the dealer in China. Didn't purchase from the German seller because not knowing shipping cost before purchase worries me, especially on a special order item which may not be cancelable.

As I posted earlier, I try to purchase the item in bulk to save on shipping cost (it is very light and stackable). But the dealer said they are only getting 1 or 2 per month and sometimes none for 2~3 months. It would be impossible to organize a group buy from this source.

The picture looks very similar if not identical to OEM and Lexus one is made in Australia too. If you can find a picture that shows the back clips, you will know for sure. At least all aftermarket ones I saw uses a different securing mechanism. Below is a picture of OEM's back clips. Another option is to contact a dealer that carries both and ask about the difference.

This person mentioned EGR version in his installation log. The content is in Russian and here is the Google translate version.

"However, Hello!

Today bought from the official dealer for a normal price - Hood Deflector, original Lexus.

We made a good discount and bought for 240 manat ($ 142). And they sell it in real to others for 400 manat. Prior to that, other vendors promised to order EGR for 165 manat to order, but after they made a discount in Lexus through a friend, they decided to take the original. How can when you see the inscription - Lexus is already becoming nice.

I made the installation myself, I really had to tinker;

At first I did not know how to wear it, then how to fix it))

Fasteners are a little questionable in terms of the reliability of the plastic, but time will tell.

The view became more threatening)) after all, black gives seriousness to the color) However, goodbye!"

Yeah... I saw that same Russian EGR post earlier today... that is what got me thinking about these being made by that same company in Australia.

I found another German company where shipping would be right at $100... still around $300/shipped.

How much were you able to obtain shipped from China?

The price is $184. The dealer said they don't ship internationally so I plan to bring it back on my next trip there.

Want to do another buy for you and I if this will be around $250 each? I can pay for both up front this time and have it shipped to me if you want. Only reason i want this is because i actually got a chip on the edge of my hood where this would have saved it. The projectile went thru the paint protection film and paint.

Installation instructions are the same so OEM = EGR Auto

Good find!

Probably the only difference is branding. You can always use some solvents to remove the logo I am surprised despite being an Australian company, EGR deflector was only offered by Russian sellers. But at least their reasonable pricing can offset any international shipping.
