Hi All, I replaced my 2005 GX 470 with a 2012 GX 460 and have been looking for a ski rack for the 2nd generation for years. I have seen only one 460 with a ski rack and I almost chased the driver down to get the model. None of the manufacturers or outdoor stores have models that are 'compatible,' but as I said, I've seen a ski rack on my model. For some reason, Lexus decided to change the rack configuration on the 2nd gen to be low profile and unsuitable for racks. Please advise.

 

If you are asking about a roof mounted ski racks, then you have to install a cross bars ( I have a Lexus bars) on your gx460 first. Then you can attach any standard ski racks to your bars.

 

Universal Thule ski racks fit fine on the factory crossbars.
