2011 premium that just passed 101k miles. If it's not the bearings it will be going to the dealer for diagnosis.

Oh damn, just out of high school flashback LOL. I worked at a tire/mechanic shop and I was taught to use this method, when I found a car with this problem I was paid a commission if repaired. Thanks for the reminder.... forgot about this.

Just heard from my mechanic today and his diagnosis is rear right wheel bearing. Repair quoted cost was very expensive I think. Can anyone give me a ballpark price for labor and parts on this? Thank you in advanced

I replaced both front hubs over the weekend. I went with the cheapo Durago hubs. All in ~ $250 in parts.

Maybe I am ham fisted but I was not able to get the axle nut dust covers off without damaging them. I would recommend having replacements ready as they aren't very expensive if you buy ahead of time online. I think I spent 2x $25 from the dealer.

I also recommend using a hub puller to separate the hub from the axle. I was not able to separate them using a hammer. Maybe I wasn't hitting it hard enough (I was afraid to damage the threads on the axle) but I decided to borrow a friends hub puller and it made quick work of the job.

Overall a very easy and rewarding job to do.

@carferna if you dont feel comfortable doing the work yourself give Tandem Automotive a call. Trustworthy aftermarket shop in our area.... and reasonably priced. Sometimes they let the customer supply the parts as well...
