I upgraded all to LEDs too and used both Yorkim and generic bulbs I have left over from my previous car. The interior ones are generic and the running board are Yorkim. They are very similar and work the same but the generic is much cheaper. Both are pretty bright.
Beside latex gloves, I found that use tape is easier to pull the bulbs out. Just wrap the bulb in tape and pull. The first one of the running board was a bit confusing but once you get it, the rest were easy.

All white
Looks great!

Wrap it with a piece of tape or use latex glove.

Configuration is the same with all overhead interior bulbs. You have to be aggressive with that bulb as others have experienced the same problem. Use the methods that you are currently using and jiggle the bulb while pulling.

Yes you have to be aggressive with it. Wrap piece of tape around the bulb but leave the end of the tape long enough to make them stick together, then just pull forward on it.

I used the same tape method as suggested by the members here and it came out after some effort.

I always upgrade to interior LED’s for my cars...the GX is my wife’s ride and she actually prefers the softer, yellow lights...ugh

I installed LED lights on an older vehicle before (also spent way too much money on them).... They were more of a cooler white which wasn't pleasant to look at during the night. Now, I've come to prefer the warmer colors. I see hzaho's link has a warm white option. Is it worth it to get LEDs if I want the same warm white color option?

Not sure exactly what you meant by unplug, are sure twist the socket and pull the whole thing out? That's the way do it, just twist and pull it out the socket, then remove the bulb. there are cable tier on the side, but should have enough slack to move the socket.

I've 2018 GX-460 and I plan to replace regular bulbs with LEDs.

Can you kindly share the link to the thread where step by step instructions with pictures was shared? That would help me understand how to open each section to replace the lights.

Thank you.
