Interior and Running Board LED Upgrade

for brands, sylvania, philips, osram.
but i usually go for design for application instead of brand.
for the rear 2 by the barn door and the puddle lamps i recommend these; up front i think they might be too bright, but others like them.

you can read that thread and see someone did put them inside everywhere as well.
I dont have any other led swapped inside, but if i did put some i would use these

What is the easy way to replace bulbs for the front "parking lights"

I assume you mean the middle dome console light. Use a small flat head, plastic tool removal or a flat butter knife, pry the cover from the side closest to the windshield. If you go in from the side facing the back, you may break the tab. Pry it down from the windshield side.
For the bulb, use a piece of tape to tape it and yank out.

Make sure you tape it, then turn on the light a bit to make it run hot and the glue melt a bit to get it stick to it more securely.

I did the modification of soldering LEDs for the rear. The front LED footwell lights have a different design. I’m looking for something that is plug-and-play for the front footwell lights. I saw how people did a modification by adding some LEDs but I wanted something a little bit cleaner.

if youre scared to break it, then maybe some duct tape all over it so the tape catches the glass.
again i havent ever broken one yet.

I have never pulled the center assembly down and I couldn't find a side that was easy, it has 2 fixed hooks and 2 movable clip hooks that are staggered and one popped out on me, I put it back into place and the assembly fit right back in. I had to pull pretty hard on this to get it down. The rear assembly looks like it would be the same. I have pulled the front overhead console down many times and for that you must pull down from the windshield side where 2 clips are and the back side has 2 fixed hooks on it.

the map lights are up front
the middle are dome lights
the back are trunk lights
i believe that for '12 they are all the same
for the 470, the map lights had the ears and needed pushed in, turned, then pulled out. the others were festoons so just pulled.
how about a pic of this mysterious hard to remove bulb?

Hey guys... getting ready to dive into this... thinking about going with the Philips Vision 194 6k bulbs...looks like I will 14 bulbs? Can anyone clarify which bulbs are needed for the vanity? I have a 2016.
