50a fuse for Air Pump is fine.

With new pump in it still stays in 4LO and Seondary air pump doesn't turn off.

Any suggestions?

If you have time, order the part on ebay and change it yourself. It's the passenger side valve. Once you get the part in your hands you will easily understand how to replace it or take the easy route and just replace the top half. Good luck! My 2011 malfunctioned around 46k.

Thanks.

Anyone have better pictures and instructions on how to replace this valve?

The switch out is easy. Four screws to remove the top portion of the valve. Remove the hose and electrical connection. Install new top portion of valve, hose and electrical connection and your done. The valve insert may stay connected to the old top half of the valve when you pull it apart or it may stay in the bottom half. You must remove it and replace with new insert. When I took apart my new valve the insert stayed attached to the new top half. DO NOT remove the valve insert from the new valve. It is hard to put back on.

I replaced my pump first back in June 2016 with and aftermarket pump from ebay. My valves started acting up in December 2016. Replaced the valves in December 2016 and two days ago the replacement pump went out again. I removed the pump and found the bottom part of the pump was full of water. Does anyone know how this could have happened?

I spoke to the dealer on getting the repair comped but was not able to so I called Lexus directly and it took a few days but was able to get the parts covered which was 80% of the cost. Considering that they provided a loaner it worked out.

If anyone needs the SB I'll pull it up. Labor is only 2.3h for pump for the SB and they did cover the valve as well.
Currently I am going through the same issue. Please forward me the service bulletin to me. Thanks Shaikh

I've been reading up on this and this was the second mod I did to my new truck. The foam filter is still in good condition but I feel better with the UNI filter.

So apparently Lexus has finally acknowledged this is a problem and is going to take care of us! I received this letter in the mail and will be seeking reimbursement for the parts!

Thanks for posting. I wonder if only some VIN's from 2010 got this letter or all of them. Does this also show up on your Lexus driver history account too?
