Terminal 2 and body no ignition. Terminal 2 and fuse bolt no ignition (notice polarity). Terminal 2 and body while running, Terminal 2 and fuse bolt running. Shut down, installed relay. Codes thrown and cleared with Carista.
Thank you for that sanity check, Techman! That is very helpful.

When this problem first arose, I called the dealership and inquired about this being covered by warranty. They said it wasn't. Since it was raised again by a few posts in this thread I called them again today. I got a "no", called back later and got a "yes", had another question and called back a third time and got a "no" again. In the end, I was able to convince the third service agent that it was actually a "yes". The key-phrase was "extended warranty". Maybe you guys already knew that. The agents that were giving me an adamant "no" were looking at "my warranty". Hopefully this knowledge will help the next person.
Given the miscommunication I was able to get them to say they would be open to reimbursing me for the parts and work I've done. I'll let you guys know if that works out.

This is GX forum and maybe IS forum may provide you the better answer. In short, No, this is not an option to change the startup display.
Correct. This is a factory warranty enhancement/extension for this specific area of engine.
Indeed. Components or systems can have their own warranty, which is granted by the manufacturer, when there is a known problem; for example, the secondary air pump filter issue. This is distinct from the warranty for your vehicle.
Not sure how many 10-13 owners have gotten the official letter like mine from Lexus. I'd make sure one has updated their owner details on the Lexus Drivers site.
Well, it was my turn yesterday morning at 132,447 miles. Started the car up and had all the lights come on and it was in limp mode. I pulled into a parking lot and opened up the Torque OBD app and saw I've got P2445 Secondary Air Injection System Pump Stuck off Bank 1. I cleared the code with the engine running and that got it out of limp mode. Drove to the office without the code coming back on, but it was stored as a Historic Fault. Started the car at lunch, and code did not reappear, but still showed as historic. Same thing later at 4pm. I called lexus and my service advisor asked it my dashboard looked like a christmas tree and she knew what it was right away and told me to bring it in. I was a bit worried because my luck they'd find a reason not to cover it. While chatting with the service advisor she said if it's confirmed to be "the known issue", it'll be covered by lexus and it'll take 2 to 3 days, depending on if they have the part or not. I got a text this afternoon saying they started working on it and should be done tomorrow.
When I first got the car at 106k I did the unimod filter, but after finding out lexus extended the coverage to 150k, I returned the stock filter. Is still recommended to do the unimod after Lexus has done the repair?
Ramacher: just my opinion but I would remove the foam inside air pump housing on replacement and put the Uni filter back on even with upgraded parts.. This would still protect from water intrusion issues.

Yeah, better safe than sorry right? Also the TSB states the assembly has "been modified to reduce the possibility of this condition occurring." So it's not 100%.
I remember tecman mentioning getting out of limp mode temporarily while running and resetting codes too. A good reminder.
I keep everything I need in rig to get at air pump and unplug as well if I need longer duration staying out of limp mode. I plan to go with a Hewitt bypass if I am in a scenario in future where I will be paying the repair bill.
