Dropped in a set of Seat Jackers today, being long-legged, the GX seats can be uncomfortable on long drives. Once installed, noticed the difference right away. Gonna have to take a trip this weekend to give them the full test.

Have them on both of our GX, they are worth every penny.

got the Bilstein 6112 and 5160's installed on my 16 GX 460P. Really like the stance and ride. This is the second vehicle I've had the same struts and shocks installed in. Other was my 05 4runner V8 after had the x-reas removed. Personally, I never have liked the factory rake on these. The GX now sits at 35 inches in front and 35.5 inches in rear.

maybe its the larger tires, but it doesnt look higher. was there a height change? how did the ride change? stiffer(sportier), more comfort, how does it handle unseen sinkholes in the street?

The front was originally at just under 34 inches and rear at 35.5. I only wanted to level and not raise the entire vehicle. The ride is night and day. It’s both sportier and comfortable. Very well behaved over uneven surfaces, potholes, and dips. As mentioned, I’ve had this setup before and loved it. I also have a 19 TRDP 4Runner and a 20 TRDP 4Runner with the Fox suspensions. If you’ve ever driven a TRDP 4Runner, the ride is identical. This GX was my wife’s’ car for 6 years and she preferred the ride of our kids 4Runners. She now has a 22 RX 450h and I got this and sold the 05 4Runner with this setup.

Got a rear low profile storage tray in. It lifts out for larger item storage. It's a drawer right now but I'll be making it a hinged door only with soft bag storage underneath and see how I like that. I think the drawer eats up space and adds useless weight.

So far so good. I'll change the 3d printed backing plates to light tan in the future. Not everyone's style but proof of concept is valid and I enjoyed the challenge

Small/silly thing:

Scored a brand new set of dark gray mats for my sepia interior GX. I really like how they keep with the two-tone theme Lexus has going with the dark steering wheel & dash. Plus, they won’t get as dirty as quickly.

Extended the AC drain line, used a catch can oil hose that can handle higher temps, ½" inside diameter. It will fit over the AC drain hose.

Thanks for posting this. Been meaning to do this for a while and your photos were helpful in finding the drain. Used some braided hose that I had laying around to extend down past frame rail.
I attached a pic of the drain hose which may be of help to others since it’s hard to find photos of it anywhere. With the wheels pointed far left, you can easily access it from the passenger side front wheel, after removing rubber splash guard.

The photo is from inside wheel well, with rubber splash guards removed, looking towards back of vehicle. The drain is the short black hose on the right.

Hit the 50k mark today, so did a transmission drain and fill. Fluid looked fine (obviously).

Used the veepeack Bluetooth OBD scanner and the OBD fusion app with the Toyota/Lexus add-on to monitor transmission temps. Couldn’t have been easier.

I installed the Rola roof basket, I was going to try a Yakima until I saw a post on the GXOR Facebook page, where someone installed this basket and flipped the hardware to remove the gap between the rails. I like the lower profile aesthetic.

Also did the yellow Lamin-x, might not have kept it on but noticed that both of my turn signal lenses were cracked with less then 5k miles. When I get the urge for new turn signal lenses I will definitely put clear film on them before install.
