Finally got the NashFab Co rear ladder in. Comes as two pieces, the other half can be removed for when not needed. Allows glass hatch to open, love it.
Looks great. Which is the black exhaust tip on your rig?
This week i finally decided i was going to keep my 2014 for a bit longer, went ahead and did some well deserved maintenance and tlc.
-Oil change - Mobil one High Mileage.
-Brake pads and disc all 4 ($ dont know yet, I haven't been charged. Its a buddies shop)
-1.25'' Wheel spacers $111
-Powder coated my OEM rims $760 with the caps painted
-Paint correction $830
After all this was done, we took a 1100 mile road trip to West Virginia. Paint correction was done but i will most likely have to get me front bumper painted. 1.25'' Wheel Spacers came out exactly how i wanted it them. Almost flush with the vehicle maybe 1/4 inch out.
-Next:
-Upgrade headlights
-maybe PPF wrap
-Upgrade the suspension.
Spent some money today!
Brake fluid flush
Power steering fluid flush
Lubed drivetrain
Rear KDSS mount and sway bar bushings
OEM water pump and thermostat housing
OEM fan clutch and fan clutch bracket
Serp belt, OEM tensioner and pulley
OEM lower radiator hose and clamps
OEM alternator
Drain and fill with three quarts of Toyota WS.
None of this was at the point of failure, but with the age and the mileage, I just went for it knowing that we are going to keep the GX for many years to come. Next up will be upper and lower control arms and tie rods, probably around the 150k mark.
I'm really impressed with TEQ Auto Solutions and Off-road. Guy does great work, lets you bring your own OEM parts, and charges a fair price. I can't imagine what this would have cost at a Lexus dealer or even the local independent Lexus service center here in Houston.

If you don't mind my asking, what is your current mileage? How much did you spend?
This week spark plug change, coolant drain fill, coolant hoses & clamps and thermostat replacement. I still need to do a brake fluid bleed and another AT drain and fill by sometime this summer.
I replaced the AFS HID lows with newer design 5x3 LED retrofits. much brighter than stock HID and AFS still works.
I replaced the highs also with 5x3 LEDS, again much brighter than the high output Hikaris I removed.
I replaced the 3" projector fogs which had 5x3 for about a year with 3 inch LED integrated fogs.
