That feature is not new. It is also on my 14 GX Luxury. It is described in the Owner’s manual. In fact, that is the reason why Beatsonic has the bypass adapter for Lexus that will allow the DVD play while in motion.

Replaced power steering fluid today. Was really easy to do, used Mobil 1 ATF ( Advanced Full Synthetic) fluid, and the oil pump to suck out old fluid and fill in new fluid all in one shot.

You have to enable your emergency brake and then dvd option works on front screen (if you have DVD option in your GX, which I think all come with?) I have rear screens, so we can watch some movies both at front and back at the same time. I need to figure out how to bypass the emergency brake…

Wasn’t sure if you use it as a replacement of the factory infonavthing or if it was meant for upper dash mounting. I’ve seen some aftermarket systems that use the wide screen in place of the factory system but have yet to see one.

it’s the center screen on stock GX, as long as you have parking break on and shift in “P”, you can play DVD on GX (regardless if you have RSES).

What brand of cross bars do you have? I'm looking for a set just like your set up.

@SCOFF82
I have
these which I purchased from Amazon these which I purchased from Amazon
for much cheaper than the OEM black line rails. Unfortunately they did not come with the weather strip moulding, which I ended up purchasing OEM:

PN: 75712-60072 / Driver Door Window Belt Moulding
PN: 75711-60072 / Front Passenger Door Window Belt Moulding
PN: 75721-60121 / Right Rear Door Window Belt Moulding
PN: 75722-60121 / Left Rear Door Window Belt Moulding

Edit: just realized you were asking about the cross bars not the roof rails. They are OEM Lexus crossbars, PN: PZQ30-60205

Installed a set of Expedition One sliders. Check out details of the install and more pics here. Next step is to get new wheels (black, to cut down on the amount of chrome) and eventually a front bumper.
