Not sure what part you want more shots of. But here is where I mounted the lights.

The eBay grill came with grill supports that ran to the back side of the emblem. I mounted the lights to the lower grill support. Sorry for the one shot that is upside down, but that is where they mount behind the grill and you can see them peeking through on the other shot. I like low profile things, so I didn't want them to stand out when not in use.

Here is one of the new suspension too.

Today's project, MTS install. Followed the below video, super simple. Took about 30 minutes. Didn't even cuss or tear a knuckle open, great success!

I don't know anything about the icon upper control arms, but I do know the oem upper control arms sit tight against the knuckle. I see there is a bit gap between the UCA and knuckle, is that correct?

I will be honest, I don't know. This is shop installed and they do a ton of Toyota stuff. I have to believe they did it right. But thank you for letting me know, I will ask when they do the 500 mile check up!

Took the GX to Bell Lexus for the 120k service. I have a mobile tech that comes to my home for oil changes and such but since this is an important interval, figured I should have the dealer take a look at it. Everything checked out. While there, I decided to get new tires as two of them had fought the fight bravely. Went with Falken Wildpeak A/T4W up a size, 265/65R18. Like them so far. No rubbing on the street but waiting to see what happens on the trail.

Swapped my 2017 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro in Cement with 160k miles for this 2022 GX Blackline in Nori Green with 30k miles. Loving it so far. So much smoother and better acceleration. That being said, I loved the 4R and it will be missed.

Nothing fancy just first oil change on new to me 21. I would like to take a moment and wish bad things on the dealer tech that decided that 150ftlbs for the oil filter, plug, and skid plates bolts was the right amount of torque. WTF my man...

Right there is why I do my own maintenance, most dealer service techs are in a rush and will not follow spect torques, but just use easy available tools like impact wrench for everything.

Got the truck detailed today with the clay bar and polish. I think it will require an extra step to get all the remaining swirls removed.

New front rotors/pads, new tires (Nitto Terra Grappler G2 FTW! BFG KO2 RIP), and a wash!

Nice! The G2 is a great tire, had them on a F150. I’ve bought my last set of K02s. Those are a great tire for 25k miles but awful after that. The G2 wore better in my experience.
