Thanks! After a week of long trips to work, I can say the Nitto's keep me smiling, and my crowns are staying in place . I'm stock all around, and I heard a very minor rub one time coming out of a driveway, and haven't heard it again since. Never heard any rubbing with KO2 265-65-18...

put in a new lift gate lift support. old one wouldn't lock and didnt have any resistance so the door would always close by itself. notice the bulge on the old one.
$100 shipped from lexus dealer.
Part Number Part Name Price Quantity Total
68650-09010Lift-Gate Lift Support $82.38 1 $82.38
< 5 minute job
that then turned into a 15 minute job. while back there noticed a slight bit of rust on the rear door fold seam. removed the plugs and injected some oil in all the plug locations right and left each hole..
replaced plugs. made sure that water exit cutouts were downwards.

The only eyesore on my new to me 18 GX was those darn cracked door handle inserts.
As I understand it in order to fix these I would need to delaminate the inserts with heat and then maybe SEMA paint them. So, for now I went with these cheap eBay covers. From a distance they look great. The smart lock buttons are sunk in them but not terrible to get to. All in all they're fine for now.
