I put on a hitch step, but only so that I could reach the roof. I'm installing a Frontrunner Slimline roof rack this weekend. It's already assembled; I just need the manpower to get it on the roof without scratching anything.

Any issues with the parking sensors being tripped by the new hitch step? That one looks pretty massive.

Installed some cheap door edge guards, looks better than seeing the chipped paint.

Yeah that sucks. Any details on what happened? Just curious.

I was headed down a dirt road during a rain, there is lots of small rocks and pot holes everywhere. A truck flying by way to fast hit the pot holes and sprayed my car with small rocks, I didn't know the window was broken until I stopped 15 minutes later. I opened the door and heard the window kind of start breaking apart, I got out and sure it was broken, I got see in a spot where the rock had hit, it was more than one spot. I'll talk to my window guy and the dealer Monday and make a decision from there. I saw a defrost element in the window, that may be why the headliner needs to be removed.

EDIT: It could be the radio antenna as well.
EDIT: Not 100% sure but I do think it might be the phone antenna for Safety Connect. There appears to be an amplifier module in this area too that looks like this.

looks good!
avoid the automated car washes in the future. We have a black gx and as much of a pain as it is to hand wash, I won’t take it to the automated.
if you live in a place where they have a lot of hand washes (Cali, az, Texas, Chicago), I’m jealous.

The price was $350 for a Chinese window without the chrome trim, it looked like crap, so I went with an oem glass for $350+ $150 for install. Much happier and its made in Japan. So happy to have the duct tape window gone.
