Jackson Hole WY to Puyallup WA only stopped for gas and for a couple eating breaks. Went to Idaho Falls and then up on I-15 and over to I-90
GX has a sweet spot at 80 - 85 out on the open roads. Very comfortable ride. Going over Teton Pass at 3 in the morning was a little sketchy - good thing it was dark!
Ticked over 11K miles, not bad for only 7 months old
That was a long stretch of driving the GX is really comfortable on long drive. I agree 80-85mph is the sweet spot.
I’m about to make 400 miles trip in a few weeks. Can’t wait
I am about to embark on a 600 mile each way trip from Denver to Durango. it will be a lot of mountain driving so no 80mph for me and lots of up and down and curves.
I did a road trip in April up to Mt Rushmore, very wide open roads across Wyoming. I set the cruise at 70mph though, found I got better MPG's and more alert at this speed. seats were far more comfortable than my previous 4Runner was and it overall was better for the long trips.

It's a nice drive. I did C-Springs to Durango a few years ago - then to Santa Fe a week later. The GX will be very comfy. Be careful of speed traps.
Longest single day drive I've ever done in the GX was slightly under 1,100 miles (New Orleans to Cleveland).
Yeah GX really cruises nicely at highway speed. Never feel like I'm wanting for more power. Pretty quiet too, but it's noticeably quieter in the 70s than in the 90s. However the extra speed really does add up and save you time over a long enough drive.
today i ordered the RES remote engine start and GBS glass breakage sensor modules to be added at the same time as MTS multiterrain select. I also measured for some custom CC crawl control switches.
Ordered the MTS module & waiting on delivery tmw, trying to figure out if I want to order a more aggressive grill? & not to mention I finally got my Carbon Fibered spoiler installed
New set of BF Goodrich LT265/70/R18
Slight rub on Back of front wheel where it contacts the plastic, heated and pushed in no problem.
Test drove 500 miles (combination city/hwy) at 45psi, averaged 18.5mpg. Speedo is off 4 mph at 60 mph. Not sure how that effected my mileage calculation on the trip computer.
