Positioned her for some undercarriage maintenance... driveshaft lubrication, fluid filming the next couple days as some storms rule thru... exercised all the actuators before getting her up, actuators slipped in and out without issue. Highly recommend everyone exercise these regularly (at least every 6 months) to keep them operable as the vehicle ages. Also A/C drain mod being completed.

What’s your fluid film application process like? Do you use the cans or buy the tub and spray on?
Also curious about the AC drain mod. Haven’t heard of it before

i love the pic but i hate those ramps. those are so dangerous. best is to make your own from some 2x12s. they will last longer than you, and they wont suffer from embrittlement.

Curious about the A/C drain mod too. Just glanced at this.
Admittedly I have those same ramps. They are rated for 12K-16K lbs though. I usually bring a floor jack into the mix just in case. I can't say I have heard of Rhino ramps failing but I'm sure someone has. There is a HF version that might increase my skepticism.

I rub it on all surfaces with a rag and use the aerosol cans and wand to spray it inside the frame and other inaccessible areas. I bought a 1 gallon container and a 12 pack of aerosol cans 3 years ago and have another year or two left with those supplies. Undercarriage is pristine... granted it takes me longer than those who professionally get it atomized on, but hey... I doubt those retailers are spraying the interior of the frame either (or rubbing it on the rubber airbags to keep them from dry rotting) so I'm ok taking my time.
Not worried about the ramps in terms of safety. they're rock solid and simply there to provide some extra clearance, I fit under the vehicle comfortably with out the ramps...

Those ramps do creep me out a bit but you are right, there is enough ground clearance to slide under so if it caved in and came back to the ground you would be just fine. I always put at least a spare tire up front and some jack stands as a secondary option.
