I noticed my spare was a little low too. Unfortunately valve stem had to be in one of the few wrong spots so had to lower spare just a little to get orientation right. Now I can easily top the spare tire up. Something to consider when tightening down the spare tire.

Also removed my Wilco Hitchswing today from receiver and greased everything up. Then put back in and torqued the wedge to 100 ft-lb. Hitch Swing feels like it is welded to the vehicle.

Checked the sunroof drains with the orange windshield wiper fluid trick (can't remember who stated that one) Thanks!

Easy to see it come out in the rear part of front fenders. Current weather will keep her dirty for a while.

Sorry for the delay in responding...

So far, so good... got an alignment and I am 100% happy... took a 500 mile road trip and tire noise is there, but not bad... I have a Trooper with Federal Couragias--those howl!

Got an alignment, fresh Mobil1

Getting a replacement windshield Friday...

Added a new remote fob. Only came with one... interesting, there was only one registered, too... I guess someone sprung for the seed code at some point in the past--they come with two, new, don't they?

I installed MTS and Crawl Control switches... did the zero point calibration with Techstream--went pretty smooth... pleased so far...

In use, does the lowest speed on Crawl usually make a lot of racket? I mean, I knew to expect some--but in low, it is practically convulsing! The faster it goes, though, the quieter--less busy--it sounds.

also--has anyone done the add-on Lexus Remote Start module? is it worth it or should I look at something "better" aftermarket? Really concerned with the range (lack thereof...)

CC Normal on low speed. Remote Start range is subjective on remote start. Installed on mine and happy with range. It can vary though for unknown reasons on different installs.

i got that. whats that? thats a 12vdc rf controlled motor in a tube.
yeah, for what? it is what controls the sunshade/lightshade. like my LS and ES had. so now my GX will have it. except this one will not be a perforated see through net like the LS/ES.

I was finally able to get my drawers installed. I modeled them after Drifta and made them to fit. Most of it is made out 1/2" plywood with plastic runners to save on cost and space. The front face is coated with Raptor Liner. I still need to find time to finish up the side wings but pretty happy with how they turned out. I tried to keep them modular so I can remove one of them or double stack them on either side (allows for easier/lower access to a cooler on the open side). Everything is bolted in and takes maybe 20 minutes to return to stock if needed. I could also remove one side and half of the lower deck to add one of the seats for the 3rd row back in, if needed. The stock rubber cargo mat still fits on top and was used a guide for the outer anchors, middle ones are obviously covered, but added in case I decide to remove the mat and could use additional tie-down support. The slot on the right is for a folding table that I also need to finish making when I have time, but that'll have to wait until after the holidays.

Finished up my LED conversion today with bulbs from VLED’s. Huge improvement and car should have come this way! 6 interior light bulbs, 4 puddles, and 4 running board lights done.

Pic below shows difference from incandescent on left and LED on right for front map lights:

Drove it from DFW down to hill country for the weekend...Pulled 21.5 mpg cruising at 3+ the speed limit. Heated seats, heating steering wheel on, radar on... if it had a massager in the seat I could have fell asleep, damn thing damn near drives itself. Lol

Default Nothing major

Installed Prado emblems in the rear. Been a while since I last logged in but looking to get this done.

First removal

All cleaned up. Note that the Lexus emblem uses the left and right holes

The Toyota emblem uses the left and right lower holes to mount

Would love to change out our front and rear emblems to Toyota...

Is the emblem you have pictured a Prado part number?

SAIP filter mod, quite possibly the easiest mod I've ever done

Afraid so; I shared the numbers with my local Toyota dealer and they didn’t stock it. I have another picture with the Toyota emblem and even that (size) they don’t stock.

Megazip, Carmarka and Motors Head Japan should be able to get it. Motor's Head shipping is relatively dirt cheap compared to the other two especially for small parts. They can get most Prado items.

Even if PN doesn't come up in search reach out for a part search---> https://www.parts-sale.jp/index.php?...mation/contact

I had to do that a couple times now.
