Took a 600 mile road trip in my 2019 GX to Vegas for some pre Xmas fun. Redrock Canyon near Summerlin was gorgeous, and a nice backdrop for this great vehicle. Four adults traveled in total comfort.

I did the rear and front diff change with Amsoil.
Then put some Meguiare compound on the headlights to help getting rid of some dulling and yellow, it helps a bit.

I saw someone posted some dirt roads around Red Rock State Park that look like some good fun away from Vegas lights.
I want to take the GX to LV for a conference in Feb and check out some light trails there but probably will fly out instead.

Discovered a cabin neighbor hit my rig yesterday. It is the GMC pickup next to it. At first I thought it was hit and run but later saw the note accepting full responsibility with insurance info just before the sheriff left taking a report. Note was buried in the snow on the windshield. Thoughts on damage? $2-3K? .... I think he might have nailed my rusty carrier and Wilco but I think those just left damage on his rig.
Right rear fender work and new bumper and even the right rear mudflap.. scratches extend around to lower reflector housing. You can see tire imprints on there as well.

Bummer, glad to hear he took responsibility for this. Is this a good excuse for you to go with an aftermarket bumper or do you plan to keep OEM?

I'm gonna stay OEM for now. He told me a group of 5 or 6 tried to move mine so I could get out but gave up trying to push the tank so found someone to pull his truck away from mine with another vehicle. I imagine the weight of GX and the snow tires on ice/snow were too much for physical pushing. I found some blood below the carrier so someone got hurt trying to move it.
I did double check to see if any body panels were damaged during this push event and may not discover until I clean it up some.

This sucks and sorry to hear it. I was rear-ended by an LC years ago in slow traffic, and body shop charged like $3000 for bumper and rear light housing, worst part for me is that insurance claim took like 6 months.

Taking in next Tuesday... 30 hour job currently at $2500 but shop though it might push $3k when all is said and done. I brought up using OEM parts and not a problem.
- Bumper being replaced since mud flap bracket were broken.

Did the sunroof seal already...
Picked up some automotive goop to prevent the noise from the driver side rear inner fender liner flapping... Just couldn't get myself to use panhead screws in the wheelwell area... so figured I'd try some adhesive.
golf ball box is holding it in place while the adhesive cures)
update: still rock solid as of 28 October 2021... no need to drill in this location, pick up some automotive goop instead.
