Came to the conclusion the oem bottle jack is pretty much useless in any real world scenario except perfect conditions when the entire vehicle is on completely level pavement.
The oem bottle jack's lack of stability is scary (take it out and try to change a tire with it, you'll see what I mean). I also do not like the pinpoint concentrated pressure it puts on the lifting points outlined in the manual.
Bought components online (from multiple sources) to form an upgraded lifting kit. Will share details once everything comes in and I'm satisfied the above 2 issues have been improved.

Added a head-up display over the weekend. One of the big different between my older LS460 and the 2019 GX460 Multi-Information Display on the Instrument Cluster is GX460 does not display vehicle speed digitally. It only displays the vehical speed when the car is on cruise control. Without turning/using the cruise control, the speed is not a display option. I can't quite use to the change coming from the LS460. I found this interesting plug & play Head-Up display on Amazon (
Amazon Amazon
). It does not mess with windshield reflection. It has its own display screen. You can select up to 3 typle of information to be displayed on the screen and you can even choose the colors you want (speed, temperature, time, rpm, etc.). Since I only want the speed, I just one type of display in white color matching the instrument cluster. It is small but not too small. It can be nicely placed in dash and the cable is well hidden behind the windshield. See photos below.

-Changed the Engine Oil (dealer just changed it during warranty work but had no idea what oil they used, so dropped in some Mobil1 Extended Performance)
-Installed the OEM transmission auxiliary cooler
-Performed 4 transmission drain and fills
-Reinstalled the skids plates (they've been off since the warranty work in early March)
-Test drove it. smooth as silk and cool as a cucumber...

Knocked a few things off my list.

Pedal commander. This is a must! Talk about waking up the beast!
Bonus: The alcohol wipe doubles as the surface cleaner for the velcro and for your wound from trying to unclip the connector!

Husky liners.
Living in Minnesota, this is a must. Had a set for my GX470 that held up great, great brand and these fit snug.

Then the Fsport grill. A few broken tabs, nothing super glue couldn't fix. Looks good though.

Next up, Dobs IMS lift kit!

I was going to buy
this usb charger this usb charger
for the glovebox as has been done by others on the forum since it pops right in the blank, instead I opted to buy these 2 items to handle all the USB recharging needs inside the vehicle.
Bonus that the battery pack can also be used outside the vehicle (home, hiking, or camping)

My experience and preference is to never tap a circuit or spliced in connections to a vehicle's electrical wiring...I try to avoid electrical modifications at all costs since they are the most difficult to troubleshoot when they fail.

Default HydroFlask/Thermoflask Water Bottle Fit

While many of us hate the cupholders in the GX460 I accidentally discovered that if you remove the middle divider, a 32oz/40oz HydroFlash/ThermoFlask fits perfectly in the 2010-2013 models.

If you have a rubber bottom on the bottle, if fits about 3/4 of the way down, but still stays put during turns.

I'm not sure the difference on 2014+ models.

Default wireless charging

Installed wireless charging and phone holder. Didn’t like any of the other solutions I’ve seen so I made my own.

Here is my wireless charger solution.

Amazon Amazon
Amazon Amazon

It fits my iPhone 8 plus and my Samsung S20 Ultra. The phone just sits right up and easily displays Waze or Google Map.

The wireless charger comes with 2 "magnetic sheets."

I am able to double-sided tape the base up-side-down and make the wireless charger point upward.

I found the original black USB cable is a little bit too long. I ended using my own shorter USB cable. Unfortunately is not the right color.
