So is it possible to install the Luxury model illuminated door sills on the Premium model? What’s the part numbers for 2020 models, black interior? Are they plug and play, similar to the RX where the connector cord is already installed under the sills from the factory?

Thanks
there is a plug there, I removed the door sills and noticed it and wondered what it was for. have you checked prices on the illuminated ones? I didn't know the GX's even had this, knew the RX's did
That’s awesome. Good work. How difficult was it to remove the sill plates? Removing them on the RX wasn’t too bad, but looking at the GX today, they seem much more tight. Plus they overlap the inside and outside.
Dish soap doesn’t strip wax. It puts a coating making the paint appear stripped. There are plenty of wax removers out there on the market.
Not my experience at all. Again, I have only used it in limited capacity to remove old wax before the clay bar and coming back with a nice synthetic wax. Works well and as the video mentions using it with hot water increases the PH level to make it even more effective. For regular washing I use a PH neutral soap with cold water.
In the last couple of weeks I have changed the oil, the cabin air filter, tinted the front windows, installed interior LEDs, installed the OEM hitch, programmed the key fob window opening function and upgraded to the MTS ECU.
It's a new-to-me 2015 Luxury.
The used car dealership I bought from had a Quick Lube change the oil. The neanderthals used an impact wrench to tighten the skid plates AND the oil plug. I needed a 2' breaker bar to loosen them. The oil filter was on so tight that the housing tabs broke and the tool I was using was ruined. Ended up having to leave the old filter in. I bought the Toyota metal housing as a replacement and will install at the next oil change.
I'm grateful for the contributions to this forum that provided the knowledge to make sure that I have the correct part numbers.
I finished up the LED swap for the rear lights. It looks like there are two ways to change them. you can remove the taillights and reach down or I chose to go up from under the bottom of the bumper. on the drivers side I only removed 3 of the 10mm bolts and slid the piece over enough. on the passenger side the exhaust was in the way so I removed all 5 of the 10mm bolts. it is pretty simple to reach out and swap them out.
be extra careful to cover your eyes, there is a lot of junk that falls out
I went with these ones, https://amzn.to/2NetZ6l a big upgrade over the stock bulbs. They were the highest wattage / brightest ones I could find. the other good thing is they are not polarity specific so you can put them in in any direction.
