Default Knock-off Yota Liners

I bought Yota Liners and knock off liners... the knock offs are about twice the thickness, exact same shape as the real Yota liners--neither fit perfect. but better than nothing?

Water pump replaced. I was able to smear grey rtv on outside of the timing cover. So far no leaks.

CURT 31076 2-Inch Front Receiver Hitch, Select Toyota 4Runner. Was it a direct fit or did it require modification? And what are you using it for?

Default Added Magnaflow Muffler

No drone: only hear it when the gas pedal is smashed (not loud though, resonators were kept) and it’s a little throaty at low RPMs; at highway speeds, to me it’s quieter than stock (I think my sweet spot is between 70-75). I feel like it has added horsepower. My analogy: my truck feels like my nostrils do when they’re no longer clogged up. Set-up Combined with the Pedal Commander, I’m a happy camper! 🙌🏻

Was 100% direct fit... I did remove the air dam wing things... but trimmed and re-used them on either side...

The frame horn bolts are a bear to install, but very do-able...

The side bolts went in great, but running a 12mm x 1.5 tap through the threads to clean them is imperative.

The clamp bolts to the factory tie downs were easy to do.

Most difficult part was to lift and rotate in to place to bolt up--assistance would make it easier, but I used jack stands to hold up the receiver assembly to do it...

Have you seen the photos I posted in this thread and the CURT 31076 thread?

Looks great!, nice weld job too. I had Dynaflow and Magnaflow on my last car and liked Magnaflow more. It was a tiny bit louder than Dynaflow at WOT but I like its sound better overall.

I updated my 2017’s 2016 Nav Map SD card data to the current 2020 version.

The part number is PT219GEN0820. It is normally $210 but was on sale for $199.50.

Of the three dealers closest to me, this dealer charged least shipping (still silly at $18.50) and they did not collect sales tax.

https://parts.nalleylexussmyrna.com/...19GEN0820.html

The GEN08 update process is as easy as it gets since it just requires swapping the SD card and selecting update map data from the Nav Set Up page.

I can’t speak for just how worth the update will prove to be yet but the coverage maps now show detailed coverage for the entire lower 48 where there were significant gaps on the 2016 map. I did notice some more recent POI additions in my immediate area.

When I travel, I typically have my ipad in a cd slot mount and use google maps and Sygic as my primary Nav sources but I do like to have decent maps on my OE Nav unit when I can.

I likely won’t buy any further updates but do not regret getting this one.

Yes thank you for the details! I wonder if the frame changed any for 2016 as yours looks earlier. Will be worth a try.

4 days later still leak free underneath. There was some residual oil inside the plastic casing for the wiring harness underneath the oil pan. I cleaned it and added UV dye to the oil and checked yesterday and tonight. Nothing shows with the UV light.

Not today but this week had the dealer perform a brake fluid flush. No issues and that was the last maintenance item until swapping in a new battery in the spring. Need to get an annual inspection next weekend for TX.
