194 LED bulb is what I searched for on Amazon. Got some Auxbeam ones. They are easy to change so, if these die, I’ll just swap them. They make a huge difference. I don’t get rattle snakes here, just gators.

Picked it up at the headlight builder’s house. My wife’s 2017 GX has the HID and mine did not. The factory halogen are dim so I had put LED lights in but those were not good for penetration. On my last vehicle, I put HID headlights in - very pricy ones - and got spoiled. These are very similar. Low beam now fully illuminates the field of view, fogs are unnecessary now and high beam, still using the old style light, it bright but not so focused. These will not blind oncoming traffic as they are aimed to not do that. Now, if I could just get the heated steering wheel like hers has I’d be content...

HID projector beam

Low beam

High beam, not HID but working with it.

I put in some SEALIGHT X2 9005 / HB3 100W and they are bright but they do not work as DRLs. They were $72 on amazon and work well for what they are. The headlight builder recommended Osram bulbs for them to keep the DRL working. May try them although I don’t need high beams with these HID projectors.

Washed and detailed it. Still looks brand new inside and out after nearly 4 years on the road, #TimeCapsuleGoals

Prep work on the 2013 GX460 for the CBI Off-Road Sliders which I should be able to pick up from the trucking co tomorrow.

I removed the factory running boars and trimmed them following the CBI Off-Road video instructions on YouTube. It is really easy if you have the right tools and a couple extra trim retainers just incase as I had 2 broken.

Nice!
Question: Do you use the DAC switch for Crawl Control too? Or a 3rd switch will be added? Where did you source the parts if you don't mind sharing? PM me please. Thanks!

DAC switch is replaced with Crawl control. It does the same thing as Downhill Assist Control when descending. I haven't tested it yet though.

Also 5 different speeds for downhill... DAC is on upper range of downhill speed that crawl is capable of.

What is the difference? Have been using RainX for over 30 years. Love that stuff.
