Default Twin ARB compressor with ARB pressure controller

ARB twin switch & power switch to control a new cig plug outlet in third row. Likely use for a 12v fridge.

Entire manifold may no longer be needed with the ARB pressure controller.

App that controls inflate and deflating of tires

Did you install the "wifey" to run air line to each wheel?

Was thinking about it but unsure if air lines would hold up long term.

i started with sourcing my own parts for the wifey system but I ended up not using most of it. I removed the air manifold today and I now just control airing up and down via the arb controller. I did use the rago universal shrader valve bracket.

Today I added flush mount leds to the wheel well so I can easily find the shrader valve in the dark. It turns on only when the compressor switch is on.

Manifold removed.

Bolt LED light mounted onto side steps for front and rear. On the top of the wheel well is the shrader valve with a blue cap. On our trucks there is a rubber grommet that perfectly fits the 1/4” NPT valve.

Better late than never, right? Had this sitting on my work bench for a few years now... just got it installed. FWIW, the new one from when the old one crapped out and was fixed under warranty by Lexus in 2018, still looked good.

Put new brakes, rotors on front and rear. Went with the Bosch Quiet Cast Premium brand with their pads. They are great.

Looks great, you might consider some RadRubber splash guards as your next project. Looks like your OEM ones are toast!

I am going to tackle this job soon. the rotors and pads look pretty straight forward. did you have to bleed them or do anything special beyond swapping out?

Put on a 1 1/2 level on the front and brakes all around. Have a 1 1/2 coming for the rear as well. Should have gone with a 1” up front as the objective was to avoid slight rubbing. It’ll work with the rear springs spacers. I don’t off road much.

Today, I just finished putting on the 12V remote start. It works!!!

Just finished putting the rear 1 1/2 spacer on and re-aiming the HIDs. Absolutely no rubbing now, not even on a turn hitting a bump.

Leveled 1 1/2” front and rear.

Leveled 1 1/2” front and rear.

Rear 1 1/2” coil spring spacer

Default 4 tire air system

Piped air tubes today for modified wifey setup. Added quick connects to all 4 tires and pressure gauge manifold in the engine.
I carry my compressor in a bag and now compressor and the 4 quick connects fit tidy inside.

Will update once tested tightened and finished. Took the opportunity while I Had the armor off to install CBI sliders and RCI fuel tank and A-Arm sliders.

Smittybilt 2781 modified with pressure shut off and standard 1/4npt.
Quick connect which if I switch to on board air will become my pressure release

Used fender washer to secure with preexisting holes

Will post more pics one I finish testing

RCI fuel tank slider on the left (still in shipping bag

While tightening and I checked for loose connection with tire pressure

The 4 quick connects in bag with compressor

Took about 4 minutes to go back to 35 psi in all four tires. Checked with digital gauge and all 4 at 34.5 psi.

Works surprisingly well the compressor and quick connect were hot will need to add proction for quick connect or wait before disconnecting from compressor

Each tire hooks up at tire stem with no leak untill you connect the quick connect into the system.

I have dust caps coming tomorrow to attempt to protect stems (1/4 npt) on GX

... Half way there
No assistant so used a piece of wood and the car jack to raise it in place provided bolts were not quite right but was able to get secured feels solid hope the A arms fit

Totally legit engineering diagram of set up (gray = tires blue = air tubes, yellow = 3/8 OD brass barbs purple 1/4 npt male quick connects, gold 3 way female manifolds, green PSI gauge and red is release value ). Est in feet for each run.

Add rubber vacuum covers to all the quick connects

After a test (road trip while towing) had to adjust some tubes

Black represent new tubing

I took my rig on an ‘overlanding course’ with overlandexperts.com. They have 3 locations on the east coast, I went to their course in Virginia. Was a great way to learn the capabilities of my GX while also learning more about handling terrain and certain obstacles. Obviously the biggest limitation to the GX is all the plastic trim that reduces driving angles, however I was very impressed with how capable our vehicles are in even stock form. I was able to test out all of our driver aids, including the diff modes of the MTS system and also the downhill assist. The best part of the day was taking out one of their old 80 series land cruisers around their trails. That thing is a beast that can roll over anything and I want one! Or maybe modify my GX to be just as capable

Had all systems working!

Bottomed out here but MTS set to ‘rock’ with least amount of wheel spin was able to get me out.

I want one of these old beasts!

My RCI skids came in today, well, FedEx is still holding my fuel tank skid. After seeing this pic, I had to go back and straighten the front skid.
