Time to offset all of these awesome offroad-spec posts with my mall crawler/garage queen.
New car regiment means paint correction and ceramic coating. Can't leave home without it. Before:
After paint correction.. I didn't get any close-ups of after CQuartz, hence a slight haze that's apparent. D'oh.
I also picked the worst day to take the after photos that really don't the pearl any justice.
And finally, I installed AUXITO LEDs in doors and running boards. The running board before/after were taken at equal exposure/f-stop for an objective comparison.

Did a DIY alignment with the string method. I wanted to see if was any adjustment in the rear after loosening all the control arm bolts. Then I used a ratchet strap to center the axle. I found the LR was toe out almost 1/8" and the RR was toe in the same amount(causing a pull to the right). I was able to center the axle and both sides almost have 0 toe. After re-tightening control arm bolts and setting toe in the front, the pull to the right is almost gone.
Of course I'll get a real alignment after new tires.

Picked up a H6 AGM battery from Costco, and replace OEM one. It is similar is size of 27F, just a bit lower. A little struggle with the positive terminal due to the thick power distribution cables. But at the end, it fits well. First time using AGM battery, will see if it will last any longer……

RSG Offroad completed install of Nitro 4.88s with Harrop rear e-locker, toytec aluma 2.5, treaty oak KDSS spacers, PCK, rsg sliders, Toyo ATIII 35x11.50 on Kansei KMP 0mm offset. Trimming was minimal due to offset and narrow tire, only rub in reverse in front right wheelwell and rear mudflaps. Should be easy fix.
Toytec rides very firm. Toyos aren’t too noisy up to ~65, above 70-75 the hum really steps up a notch, not sure I’ll stick with them, might try the Kendra Klever RT 35x10.50. Otherwise love it.

Installed the Snap Shades. They are great. My silver GX has tint over the factory tint. Mine doesn’t so I got these and they are a perfect fit. I thought I was buying one for the rear hatch as well but I misread the order page. Now I have them for the rear passenger doors too. I guess I’ll just have to tiny the rear hatch.

Had dealership do first oil change at 2,500 mi. Taking a road trip NY to Fl soon so figured perfect timing.
I love my GX 460. After having had spinal surgery this truck is so smooth on the highway.
Thule Cargo box and new rails came in for summer road trips. Glad I ordered early, this stuff is becoming a scare commodity.

Made a warranty appointment to see if the dealer can replicate, diagnose and repair the tapping/clicking sound from my steering wheel/ clock spring? before my basic warranty expires in 3 weeks. This is my 2nd attempt, heading to a different dealer than first attempt.
It's not the end of the world, but it's there, just a matter if they want to fix it.

Received Snap Shades today. Although it said was stock in US, but it was actually shipped from Australia. It still showed up pretty quick, about two weeks since I ordered. Material and build quality are pretty good, so as the figment. Little pricy for 4 pieces set ($160 with free shipping https://snapshades.us/?s=&ymm_search...=GX&_year=2014), but with little completions on the market, I still feel its fair. Here are few snap shots:

>WHAAT?!
anyways, i have questions:
- how much darker do they make the interior?
- how far down would you leave the rear windows while driving around?
- would they blow out, once in place if you left the rear windows down while parked to keep the interior cool?
