how far down would you leave the rear windows while driving around?
would they blow out, once in place if you left the rear windows down while parked to keep the interior cool?
Raining day here. Will try tomorrow and report it back. Unlikely it will blow out, the frames are over the door frames and with magnets.
Updates:
It is dark enough to block the sun glare, but bright enough to still have comfortable light. Here is a pic as the sun directly shines on the window, it works very well:
I have drives in both city and highway speed with either and/or both windows down, from quarter to full opening position, no signs of blow out. The frames for the shades are very well fit and secure to the door frames.

I have them too. A good bit darker but still able to see through. I wish they made one for the rear window. Will need to tint that darker to hide my lack of neatness in my cargo area.
They won’t blow out if you leave the window cracked for venting. Firm fit.
ours does it anytime, not just after startup… does it all the time pretty much. It can be lived with… just annoying once ya notice it… if they refuse to fix it and it gets too annoying, I’ll just trade the GX in on a Rivian R1s once they release the 400 mile range version in 2022.
Cancelled the appointment because on the drive there this morning, it wasn't making the noise. Go figure.... haha
Window trim is factory. (I guess?, I've only had it a few months). Used rattle can wheel paint, same as on the TRD Off-Road wheels, from Auto Zone. Gloss black polyurethane. Took the rails off to paint them. We'll see how it holds up. Going in this week for a vinyl wrap on the roof and pillars down to the bottoms of the windows, and mirrors, also black. Didn't want to have silver rack rails up there. I am a very infrequent user of the roof rack, so will probably go with some OEM cross bars on the rare occasion I throw a rooftop bag up there, or even rarer that I throw the high-lift up and a shovel up there....
BTW, can a mod please rename this thread "How to empty your bank account on your GX this week?"????
Its at the Sewell body shop getting damage repaired from a hit and run. Passenger front door, mirror and fender were damaged. Also the right side of the bumper was scratched up so we paid the difference to get a new bumper since its in bad shape overall.

any plans to get a dashcam with the always on feature?
Today I did my first mod - door edge guards. It took a bit more force to seat them than I was expecting, but great product. Totally worth it.
I also made an appointment for PPF across the entire front end for just after Memorial Day... I can see the GX consuming a great deal of disposable income over the summer months... LOL

If you live in the OH rust belt, buy some fluid film and lather up that undercarriage prior to the winter road treatment season.... It is perhaps some of the best money in terms of value one can spend for longevity of a vehicle besides regular oil changes and preventive maintenance.

Absolutely! I'll be scheduling with Columbus RustProofing for a full fluid film application. I'm far to lazy to do that myself.

Got the vinyl wrap done. Will put a front bumper on it (Victory or ?) to balance out the front.
