Replaced the door lock actuator on my 13. It had been hanging up some so I just replaced it. Thanks to Youtube, it took about 30 minutes and only that long as I could not find my plastic wedge pry tool.

Not sure how this broke but it broke. Bought a new one from Bell Lexus during their Labor Day sale for only $60 and swapped it out today. Also replaced the other skid plate mount with the one I ordered from Partsouq. Partsouq delivered it from Dubai to Houston in just over two days and it saved me about $20 compared to the other one I ordered from Bell Lexus.

Over the course of the past 3 weeks, used our GX to move from TX to VA and finally cleared out a large enough spot in the garage (after the movers showed up yesterday late afternoon) to park it inside.
Small victories during unpacking need to be celebrated I've learned... The Potomac River Outpost garage is in business for vehicle service and storage and that's a good thing because our 2005 Corolla developed a mean clunk I need to diagnose here soon so it can be registered in VA...

Next slider, then decide on roof rack.

It's really easy to remove scratches and scuffs from the plastic panels, just get yourself a small butane torch and then do some light light passes over the scratches, you'll see them disappear before your eyes 😉

Thanks, I will gave that a try, now that the area is covered with the try. Will a heat gun work?

Don't think a heat gun, you can try. I just think a direct flame is more effective and more precise. You can buy one of those cheap jet lighters from a gas station just to try it out, if it works for you then you can jet a real torch and do the big stuff.

Just start out from a good distance and work your way in closer until you start to see results. Keep it moving back and forth, don't keep it in one spot.

Far from an earth shattering "mod" I made a simple glove box organizer. I know you can buy these but there are mixed reviews on quality.
I made mine from acrylic (Plexiglas) and took less than a hour to make from start to finish.
