Mounted revised skid up and changed the oil. Lots of clearance even with the long nipple Fumoto I use. White marks are anti-seize. One caveat to the access door on oil filter in previous posts is it can get a little messy if you don't put some old rags up there to catch some of the splatter. I think next time I'm gonna try using one of those long and skinny AT fluid funnels. I think I can better contain drain. Still very convenient option.

As an example ....if you price out raw aluminum RCI you are at around $1600. These are actually custom fit for the 460 and offer ease of maintenance that other brands don't currently offer.

I got the bud built set. I couldn't be happier with the quality. The oil filter and drain plug holes line up.

I'll use Budbuilt as an example since that is what I have. Even if you don't plan to take off-road the first and second skid are simply bolt up with existing bolts.

One can even get away with replacing just the front skid if you want easier oil filter access. This config does leave a gap but it works with OEM second skid.

A few pics before I completed install but shows co-existence with OEM. They will surely sell you partial kits.

I've only seen owners retrofit the lighting via some custom solutions. Nothing from vendors AFAIK at this point.

Default Rock Sliders

Anyone purchase and install these sliders? I'm not a huge off-roader...yet...but actually just really like the look over the standard side step.

There are some more in this skid plate thread as well

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gx-...s-sliders.html

Some custom brackets so the underbody lighting still works
