This is for 4R but would need to reach out to this company. I hear they may be open to 460 if they can get interest of more than 10

Acrad, did you ever see any interest for the Shrockworks GX460 rocker trim (group buy) or did you approach them on custom?

@SEELEXUS

No... I never made an inquiry myself. It was mentioned on GXOR at the time but can't recall any further discussion.

Default CBI shipping cost

I noticed CBI had a sale on some of the skid plates and wanted easier access to the oil filter. I was about to buy the front skid but noticed the shipping to ATL was 450 bucks. Maybe I am way off base, but is shipping cost that that high? The skid costs 495. Makes me want to take a road trip and pick it up myself along with the front bumper....

I paid $270 to ship my skid plate to California in 2020. Higher fuel prices was not an issue then but I thought it was on the high side.

I run a small business and shipping costs are my highest expense.
Shipping is based on package size & weight, so a skid plate will be quite large and heavy (if it is steel).
I would still contact them and find out if there are other shipping options that are less expensive, although cheaper shipping usually means it will take longer for delivery.

Yeah I quickly struck them from my list when I saw their shipping prices.

I went BudBuilt and should have them soon.

It was $208 to ship a full set of 3/16" stainless skid plates (including the gas tank) when I ordered mid-January.

They have a discount for ih8mud members as well.

ETA: Shipping has actually dropped to $186 for the same order after I just checked.

Thanks, BudBuilt looks interesting. CBI stated yes that is the flat rate shipping for their parts. I wondered would it be the same if I just bit the bullet and bought the bumper, sliders, and skids. Nope 1,200 in shipping.... I might just get their front bumper but look for other options for sliders.

That is absolutely insane!

I can’t believe anyone buys anything from them with those shipping costs

My BudBuilt skid plates showed up today so I'll post all of the weights here. The plan is to get them installed on Saturday.....hopefully.

All skid plates are 3/16" Stainless Steel and have been powder coated black.

Front Skid Plate - 29.2lbs
Mid Skid Plate - 43.0lbs
Rear Skid Plate - 41.6lbs
Crossmember - 13.4lbs
Tank Skid Plate w/ Brackets - 64.5lbs
Stainless Hardware - 2.0lbs
= 193.7lbs

I was close as I figured it'd be 10% less than the 216lb shipping weight for packaging.

ETA: Their packaging was amazing!!!! I'm very particular about packaging when I ship something and I was very, very impressed.

Hmmm...so it must just be to reach the nut up in there as there aren't room for your fingers I'm guessing then.

I guess I'll figure it out when I go to install them

yesterday, while I was backing from a house my rear right(passenger side) wheel went down the side of the concrete bridge and the vehicle rested on the kdss arm and stopped. I had to use the L4 to move front to get out of this. Now I am seeing scratches on the kdss passenger side, rear arm. Though it was very slow and not hard hit. I do not see any thing except scratches.. Do you think it could have damaged the kdss system?
I am trying to add protection to the kdss. currently i do not have any skid plate except the stock ones. RCI have this one for the front. but anything for the rear.

https://rcimetalworks.com/https:/rcimetalworks.com/10-19-kdss-a-arm-skid-plates/

The front needs some modifications to the stock front skid plat to fit though.
So I am trying to order this plates which gives minimum coverage for the kdss front and back.
you suggestions welcome.
