Can't wait to get home and do the same. I am guessing it won't have any effect on the performance though, just an annoying indicator

Unhappy Can't turn it off

Rushed home in anticipation of turning off the eco light per instruction and all the feedback posted only to find out to my disappointment that the option of turning it off is not available. Went to the manual and it does not say anywhere how to turn it off, just what it is and how it works. I have P on/off, BSM on.off, and 2nd Gear Start and that is all... I looked everywhere and this option is nowhere to be found......

Smile I did it :)

I DID IT! Re-Read the instructions carefully and was able to do it.
"Okay, when you press your menu button the the steering wheel it presents you with options. Instead of pressing it, press and HOLD the button. Then it will prompt you to turn off eco indicator. In that menu you can also switch to metric units and change the language."

Why is this not in the manual?

THANKS EVERYONE!!

It appears to just be another take on an instantaneous MPG indicator to help someone know which driving habits net better mileage over others.

It's just a light, not a mode. There is no impact on performance.
