Good day,
We picked up a 2017 GX Premium for my wife about 3 weeks ago now and I finally took the car out for an extended drive last night. At some point I was standing at a light on a somewhat steep hill, when the light changed and I let go of the brake the car rolled back for a second but then I heard this grinding sound, the traction control light kept blinking and it felt like the car was not moving for a few seconds all though my foot was on the gas... Honestly, scared me a bit. What is going on? I drive and have been BMW X5 and never experienced anything like it in it. What is going on here? Can someone shed some light on it for me please?

Funny... I saw the same thing rock back and forth on a speed bump in a parking lot the other day while waiting for a car coming from another direction. Appears to be normal

Same thing happened to me a couple of times when I'm backing out of my drive way. Good to know that it's normal

Yup. Completely normal. Chatter, a bit of brake pedal shake, etc.
