That moly looks like it would be fine. Might even be some write-ups around on BITOG or elsewhere where someone tested for moly amounts in the grease.

Looks like the Mobilegrease I used is 3%

Frankly not sure what percentage is too little or too much moly...

Went back to HF but the moly grease was out of stock. The Mobil 322 grease was out of stock and will take a few extra days to get here as well. Ended up ordering the valvoline vv985 synthetic grease with moly. It should be Ready for next day pickup. I’ll try to take some pictures.

It should be fine. It is a 2.5% moly grease according to this data sheet.

How did the lube shuttle gun work out for you? Would you buy it again?

Actually I did buy another one. I also bought some empty tubes to put my moly grease in. Now to figure out the best way to transfer the grease.

I should invest in a lift..... As luck would have it, none of the zerk fittings lined up nicely when I put it on ramps and crawled under there. I had to reverse and drive forward to get them within reasonable reach. I was fighting with the harbor freight attachment on the zerk fittings. It didn’t clip in or bite as easily as I would have liked.

Other Thoughts:
The harsh clunk from park to reverse or park to drive seems to be gone! I’ll take it for a longer drive and see if the downshift/upshift CLUNK while coasting is fixed later on.

The front spiders needed 5+ pumps while the back only needed 2-3 before I heard the crackling and old grease coming out. I couldn’t fully get to some areas and wipe away the old grease.

The rear slip yoke I pumped about 12-15 times. The front I went about 18-20 pumps. Might have overdone it or maybe there were air pockets in my gun but I was baselining it off the front spiders being drier than the back.

I’m exhausted... still need to do an oil change. I’ll save it for tomorrow.

.
I wish I had a lift as well.

I think there are other options out there as well but this item on your existing grease gun makes things a lot easier.

Don't you guys rotate the tires every 10-15 ks? Perfect time to do some grease pumping.

Just lubricated my spiders and slide yokes this morning. 12 pumps into each slides and 3-4 pumps into each of the spiders before hearing the cracking of old grease. I had issues removing the fitting off the spider zeros so had to use pliers to get them off.

Going on an 1700 mile road trip here soon, I plan on getting under there when I check everything over the night before to do this as well. Thanks for the info.
