Default Despite pressing gas peddle -- Not enough Power

I've a GX 460 2010 with 95k miles on it. I recently bought this truck when it had 81K miles. I never had any issue since then, however, lately I've started to notice that despite I press hard on the gas peddle it doesn't cruse well as supposed to do previously. I can feel that when pressing the gas the engine noise changes, however, it the expected pickup is not there. Can anyone help answer this situation?

Thanks in advance.

Check the cleanliness of the throttle body and the MAF sensor.

Thanks for your reply. OK. as you suggested, I'll check the cleanliness of the throttle body and MAF sensor. Also, one thing to mention here, there has been no check engine light whatsoever.

Thanks again!

Same behavior in sport mode as well? Using premium fuel? Temps outside significantly warmer than when you purchased?

Might also want to change your's engine's air filter if it hasn't been done for a while.

Doesn't "sport mode" only impact suspension? I wasn't aware that it affected acceleration....

True...but I was thinking when shifter is moved over into left manumatic side of shifter gate. I could be wrong since I haven't tested but I though this side also offered slightly more aggressive shifting intertwined with some level of manual control.

How long have you had vehicle? Have you gone through a few tanks of gas? I'd try out the maintenance suggestions here first. Spark plugs should be good for a while but you never know.

Also saw a thread about oil in the spark plug wells. This is one I need to check this summer as my powertrain warranty expires 5/2018.

So if the suspect is the "Transmission" ..shouldn't there be a check engine light..? In my case I don't see that? Also, when going downhill, it takes a jerk or so (shifting gears I guess) for a few seconds, before normalizing...

I do not know if your check engine light will come on if your transmission is slipping/failing. My only experience with this was when my 78 Buick did it in1986. New trans then was about $800
