I notice on the Canadian model they mention an available Executive Package.

"Available Executive Package includes enhanced Off-Road features: Transmission Cooler, Fuel-Tank Protection Plate, Multi-terrain Select and Crawl Control"

I wonder if the "Fuel-Tank Protection Plate" is a different one that actually protects the entire length of fuel tank or the existing partial one? If it is the partial one I would then have to assume models without this package have no protection.

Here is another thing I noticed. I wonder if most Canadian GX's don't have transmission cooler without this package? I see the one they offer is apparently an air-cooled add-on versus the internal radiator model on the one we have here in the states.

Most tranny coolers are in the radiator. For heavy duty use, "Aux" coolers are installed in addition to the internal radiator cooler. That's normal for most, if not all cars.

It's been a while since I looked at this detail closely on a vehicle and my last rig with one was just an external air only unit. FSM seems to indicate one or the other config and not both. I'll look closer at documentation again and see if I am just interpreting something incorrectly.
