Rear coil air bag / AirSpring for towing sag- anyone using?
Hi all,
Picked up a 14' GX460 CPO a while back. Great truck, as expected. I do not have the auto leveling rear and expect to be towing aprox 4k lbs camping trailer in the near future. I have yet to see how much rear sag sets in with that kind of tongue weight but if fear it will be more than I'm comfortable with. I know over on the 4runner and FJ forums the firestone coil rite / Air Lift 1000 coil air bags are popular in these instances and seem to yield nice results. Anyone here used or installed products like these in the past? Unfortunately they don't list the GX on the manufacturers website, so whether or not this would be an off label use remains unknown. I suspect it's because some GX models do have auto leveling and thus they play it safe and don't list the car. Perhaps a phone call would clarify this (might be another reason that i'm not aware of). Any input is appreciated. Thanks
